Best experience we had in all of Lebanon, we visited so many restaurants on our recent trip and nothing comes close to Amaleen - everything from the service, attentiveness of employees, the waiters who stand in wait to serve you every bite in your plate, the service is so fast, you don’t have a minute to think if you want something, the waiters already know and provide it for you. The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere is splendid and all in a non-alcoholic environment. I only pray and wish that Amaleen establishment stays true to Lebanon. I asked to meet the Chef so I can thank him personally but I know it was a stretch, but I hope the owners and the chefs are reading this so they know in the span of our 3 week trip to Lebanon we visited Amaleen with our party of 10 guests 6 times and the only reason we did not come more is only because we wanted the experience with Amaleen to stay fresh. We ordered 32 different Mezza dishes , including Fattoush, Roca Salad, Kebabs, Kebbe Nayi, and so much more and the best part is the desert they bring out after the meal - To die for! The Maamoul bi Ashta, riz b Haleeb, all of it looks like the deserts we are used to but when u bite into it, it’s a completely new experience. Amaleen IS the epitome of what Lebanon hospitality, food, and culture should be, they set the standard so high for the entire country - I could write forever but I will leave you with this - Amaleen has set the standard super high for all future restaurant experiences we will have, we will forever compare every restaurant experience to that of Amaleen -...
Read moreG’day from Sydney! I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Amaleen DT during my short 10-day trip to Lebanon back in April, and fair dinkum, it was one of the best meals I’ve had in ages. This place ticks every box — professional, fresh as, and bloody delicious. The crew there are top-notch, humble as, and welcomed me like I was part of the family, even though I was just a stranger from the other side of the world. The restaurant itself is spotless and cosy, a real gem in Beirut.
The food? Mate, every bite was packed with flavour and cooked with proper care. And the prices? Shockingly good for the quality you get — great value all round. I honestly felt looked after and appreciated, which made the whole experience that much sweeter. We even received complimentary dessert, which was to die for! If you’re ever in Beirut and want a spot with cracking service, fresh food, and good vibes, do yourself a favour and swing by Amaleen DT. I’ll be dreaming of their dishes until I can get back! Big thanks to the Amaleen DT team for making this Aussie feel right at home. I wish I can mention the name’s of the waiter’s and manager, hopefully in future times

Read moreI visited the resto around a week ago in Beirut DT, honestly the food was delicious but the portions are somehow small, especially that beqaa people are known for their generousity and the prices were a little bit expensive ( which I kind of understand as the resto is in DT)
Speaking of generousity, the resto was very generous with the fruits and desserts when we finished eating and it was all for free, which i really appreciated and liked and such action is not available in other restos.
The service was very good but honestly tooo much, as the waiters were always by our side and not letting us eat by ourselves. meaning that whenever we want for example to put food in our dish, a waiter pops out and help to add, if i want to pour water in the glass, same thing, the waiter pops out. Whatever we want to do on the table a waiter pops out.
Maybe this kind of service is welcomed by some people and especially the classy ones, but this is not my type and don't like.
All in all, it is a good resto and...
