I recently had the pleasure of visiting Motyvas, a cozy bar nestled in the heart of Šiauliai, and it was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment you step inside, the inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home, perfect for a relaxing evening out with friends.

The culinary offerings at Motyvas are truly impressive. The garlic bread accompanied by a cheese sauce was a revelation – the sauce was uniquely delicious, unlike anything I've tasted elsewhere. Food: I’ve enjoyed all the food I’ve had here. Hands down the best fried bread (kepta douna) I’ve had anywhere. Their beef cheeks are highly recommended. The burger is one of the best in town. Jalapeño poppers are great. I’m also a big fan of the fish and chips and nachos. The lunch menus I’ve tried have all been really good as well. I can tell the chef really puts her heart into everything they make.

Drinks: The head bartender Gabrielius and Paul are true professionals. It’s always a pleasure to watch them work and have a chat if it’s not too busy. They have a good selection of local and import beers with some seasonal rotations. Their classic drinks are always great and they regularly offer seasonal or special drink menu additions which are always enjoyable to try.
