Grill London — Restaurant in Šiauliai

"Grill London" in Siauliai is located in "Saules miestas" which is at Siauliai Bus Station on Tilžės Street 109, Šiauliai, 77159 Šiaulių m. sav., Lithuania. On the day of our visit, we were asked to wait though there were several spare seats around the place. When I asked if I could have a look at the menu to decide whether to stay or not as it was my first visit, the same waitress said again to wait. Finally, we had a chance to look at the menu. When another waiter who was an apprentice came, he asked why we were not taking a seat because there were seats, I answered that we were asked to wait. After we sat at the table, another waitress brought 2 menus for food and 1 menu for drinks which was a bit inconvinient for two of us to read while sitting opposite to each other. We decided to order chicken barbecue. There were medium and large portions. We ordered 2 medium size. In addition, we could add rice, salad or buckwheat for free. We ordered one barbecue with rice, and another one with salad. The waitress pointed at the picture of how our meal would look like. When we got our meals, I was a bit disappointed to see that the barbecue with rice had the same variety of salads, whereas the one without rice had a small amount of lettuce. The medium size of barbecue looked really small, slices of avocado were unripe. I also tried green smoothie which was delicious. Thank you for it. The service was a bit slow at the end. If I could I would give a 0 for disappointing customer service. I forgot that you must wear your brand new clothes and shoes on your shopping trip to Norfa or Maxima, and make yourself look like from magazine cover when you decide to have a quick lunch at 'Grill London'. Sadly one of my closest friends couldn't try your amazing grill, as he was simply asked to leave the premises because he was wearing comfy fitness outfit in a daytime as it's common in USA or Canada or any other country ?!? He was told by the waitress that he might soil the leather sofa...what a nonsense, we all could laugh about it, if it wouldn't be sad...Grill that dares to wear a name of one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world has such a pathetic attitude towards the daytime dress code. Code that's even not mentioned on a door, so people who wear nice (my friend was on holiday) but not smart clothes wouldn't...

First of all, it was a restaurant that we came to fondly, but today, while we were having dinner, I ordered a cola and a short blonde-haired female waiter left the cola on the table as if hitting it and walked away. This was the first move. On the other hand, when we tried to pay the bill from the same waitress, the food we ate was different and even though we stated that we would pay separately, she was stubborn. She made a single withdrawal from the card. Either this waitress is mentally ill or has an attitude towards strangers. Behaviors that never, ever suit the restaurant concept. I will never...
