I wanted to take a moment to share with you the incredible experience I had at Pievos during my recent trip to Lithuania. From the moment I stepped foot into the establishment, I was captivated by its charm and warmth. Despite having explored various spots in Vilnius, none quite compared to the cozy atmosphere and delicious cuisine found at Pievos, Birstonas. One of the highlights of my yesterday’s visit was trying the Ukrainian dish, Borscht, in two delightful variations—one with meat and red beetroot, and another with a green, vegetarian twist. Among the culinary highlights was the delightful combination of white fish served with creamy mashed potatoes. The flavors melded together perfectly, creating a dish that was both comforting and flavorful. Additionally, the hummus paired with warm bread was a true revelation—each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes that left me craving more. The flavours were exquisite, complemented perfectly by the selection of dessert wines that exuded hints of honey.
For breakfast this afternoon, I indulged in a mouthwatering toast topped with salmon, and sampled a cake with layers of pancakes infused with lemon, as well as a cheesecake adorned with cinnamon. Each bite was a culinary delight, leaving me eager to return for more.
Moreover, the hospitality extended by the staff was exceptional. Their friendly demeanor and genuine smiles made me feel incredibly welcomed—a rarity that truly enhanced my overall experience. Additionally, the ease of communication, thanks to the availability of English-speaking staff and menus, further contributed to the seamless enjoyment of my time at Pievos. I was also delighted to discover that Pievos is dog-friendly, which adds an extra layer of charm for pet owners like myself. The presence of a plant shop adorned with vibrant flowers, as well as a selection of wine, diffusers, chocolates, and jams, added to the allure of the establishment.
Reflecting on my visit, I couldn't help but imagine how wonderful it would be if a similar establishment existed in London. I would eagerly frequent it, savoring the delightful offerings and basking in the welcoming ambiance on a daily basis.
In conclusion, my experience at Pievos surpassed all expectations, leaving me with cherished memories and a longing to return. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable dining experience in Lithuania.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my experience.

Read moreI'm really not sure why this place has a good rating, for food services it deserves not more that 3 stars. The food was ok, it was presented nicely as in the restaurant, but the taste is average. The interior is cosy, really nice place. But the service system is one of the worst I've seen. Don't get me wrong the staff is very welcoming and nice but we had to ask the waiter to bring us the menus, then we waited for 15 min, nobody came, we had to ask the waiter to take the order. And after we ate, we had to stand in a line for 20 min to pay because you have to pay at the bar...when we came to the bar, we've been asked to explain which table we ate at, then what dishes we had, it seems that nobody knows anything there. Just put the table numbers on the tables and there will be no confusion. Anyways this restaurant is severely understaffed and with very poor managing system even though the staff try to...
Read moreOverall it was a nice experience. We did enjoy the food and a place itself even it was a bit cold inside but it’s cozy and it’s a nice concept. The service was a bit chaotic. Not all of us could order at once because the person who was taking an order went to ask about the wines but after that they never came back to complete the order . We could complete the order when the first dishes were brought to the table. We weren’t a big group (4 adults) ordering complications . So it should be obvious that not everyone did get to order food . Dessert and coffees you go to order at the other counter. It would be nice that you could order everything in a one place and it would be nice to get more attention from...
