Sadly, but this was the worst experience in Druskininkai. Service: 3 out of 5. Very far from being great. First of all, waitress knows their beer selection and recommended truly nice beer. However, it’s the only good point. After bringing the starter, literally in 2 minutes main courses were served. I believe it’s basic service and kitchen knowledge that main courses should be brought to the table after the starter is finished. Second of all, once our not the greatest feedback about “Tempura shrimp” starter was shared, waitress was arguing that their way of cooking this dish is made according to the original recipe. Which was not the case (See pictures and food review below). Also, another point is that plates with the main dish were taken once the food was not yet finished. This is absurd. Food: let’s start with the starter, “Tempura shrimps” which are completely different from the original Tempura shrimp recipe (Adding pictures for you to see). Obviously shrimps must be at least crispy and each shrimp must be fried separately. But their chef thinks differently, instead they are making some type of the dough and frying three shrimps in it all together. The end result is very far away from the original recipe. Also, the plate was decorated with matcha tea powder which is again an absurd. Moreover, matcha tea powder is not mentioned in the menu, and many component of this starter were not on the plate, like fresh salad, citrusy sauce, sesame seeds and lime (which are mentioned on their menu). Second of all, main courses as already mentioned brought two minutes after the starter. While you are eating your starter the main dishes are becoming cold, obviously. Chicken burger review (adding pictures), chicken cutlet is way smaller than the bun. Again it’s an absurd, cutlet must be at least the size of the bun. Taste of it, bun is ok, salad is fresh but chicken cutlet is so salty that after two bites it is impossible to eat. Atmosphere: wasps are flying everywhere, getting in your food, flying into your drink and so on. It’s happening inside of the restaurant not outside. Nothing is being done by the management of this restaurant to prevent wasps inside of the restaurant which are completely ruining the comfort of their clients. Price: for such low quality of both service and food it’s way too expensive. Judge for yourself but I wouldn’t recommend anyone visiting.

Lovely and cozy place. Not much space inside. Summer there are tables outdoors, with nice view. Delicious and nice food submission. Burger was ordinary and not enough juicy, soup is good, salmon tartar was very tasty and scenic. Also ordered chicken, but wrongly got a salmon, which was very nice. All in all, it is very nice place, with good food and nice summer view outside.

Lovely and cozy place. Not much space inside. Summer there are tables outdoors, with nice view. Delicious and nice food submission. Atvariau vieną vasaros dieną į šitą užeigą dienos pietų išsinešimui. Iš anksto jų užsisakęs telefonu nebuvau, tiesiog spontaniškai užsukau eidamas pro šalį, pakeliui namo iš Šeimos Klinikos kur tuo metu vyko nemokama prostatos patikra visiems vyrams perkopusiems 40 metų. Ant juodos meniu lentos baltavo nezgrebnai iškeverzoti cepelinų ir kebabų pavadinimai ir jų kainos. Užėjus vidun turėjau luktelėti šiokioj tokioj brandžių pindų eilėj, bet neilgtrukus į mane tiesiogiai kreipėsi užu baro stovintis padavalkas, iš pažiūros gana laisvai tinkantis toms brandžioms savivaldybės bobelkoms į tėvą. Aš prisiartinau prie jo ir išreiškiau norą užsisakyti vieną porciją kebabo išsinešimui. Anas atrodė kažikodėl sutrikęs ir tiesiog žiūrėjo į mane, nesiteikdamas nei pasitikslinti ką pasakiau, nei kaip nors kitaip paaiškinti savo ūmaus kurčnebiliško sąstingio. Savo iniciatyva pakartojau savo intenciją užsisakyti kebabą ir netgi pusiau instinktyviai čiuptelėjau savo kišenėje besišildančią piniginę, idant patvirtinčiau savo žodžius apčiuopiamu perkamosios galios simboliu. Senis tarsi atsitokėjo ir prabilo, bet užuot mano laukto klausimo ar mokėsiu grynais ar kortele, jis tiesiog pasiūlė prisėsti prie bet kurio laisvo staliuko ir palaukti. Kiek nustebau bet paklusau, nes atidėti skyrybas su savo pinigais kad ir kokiam trumpam laikui ir kad ir kokiai mažai sumai visada yra malonu ir išmintinga. Laukti ilgai neteko. Jau po poros minučių, man dar nespėjus išnagrinėti visų restorano interjero detalių provincinio popso fone, prie manęs priėjo tas pats pensininkas ir padavė popierinį krepšelį, čiut čiut nuo savęs spinduliuojantį kebabo šilumą. Dabar atėjo man eilė pasimesti. Vidujaip pradėjau kvestijonuoti ir postringauti, svarstyti ir mintyti. Ar mane buvo ištikęs trumpametražis sąmonės aptemimas kai atsiskaitinėjau už šitą porciją? Nusprendęs kad ne, atsistojau ir patraukiau link lauko durų, su su popierine terbela rankosna. Prieš suvisam pradingdamas atsisukau atgal - senis pensininkas barmenas-padavalkas kažką sau ramiai bazarino su savo kolega, skudurėliu trindamas vyno taurę. Patraukiau namo nuo laimės palengvėjusiais žingsniais, nes gi ne kasdien pasitaiko gaut nemokamų pietų išsineštinai. Ale man tenuėjus vos trisdešimt metrų, už nugaros išgirdau panikos kupiną pensijinį šūkčiojimą, raginantį mane sustot. Prilėkęs prie manęs garbaus amžiaus alzhaimerininkas ėmė nei iš šio nei iš to kaltinti mane padarius neišpasakyto nepadorumo ir nesąžiningumo veiką. Aš savo ruožtu skolingas nelikau ir kaip mat jam pravedžiau impromtpu paskaitą apie tai kaip reikia prideramai aptarnauti restorano klientus. Senis, žinoma, neatlyžo ir primygtinai reikalavo susimokėti už dienos pietus. O man pačiam irgi tiek nuotaika, tiek apetitas jau buvo sugadinti, ir iš savo kišenės finansiškai prisidėti prie šios nemokšiškai savo veiklą kuruojančios įstaigos apyvartos tikrai neketinau. Todėl tiesiog švystelėjau putoplastinę maisto dėžutę seniui į drebantį glėbį ir patraukiau link Sicilijos kur užsisakiau jautienos burgerį ir už jį atsiskaičiau savo auksine...

Čia yra ne kavinė, ne restoranas, o neaišku kas. Pirmą kartą matau vietą, kurioje kažkas sugeba sugadinti mėsainį pridėdamas per daug svogūnų. Net sovietinė cepelinus verdanti šeimininkė žino, kaip nepadauginti svogūnų ruošiant cepelinams mėsą, ruošiant mėsainius tą padaryti dar lengviau. O čia nė to nesugebėjo.

Viską apibendrinus: Užsakyto maisto laukėme tikrai pernelyg ilgai. Buvo daug minčių tiesiog nusispjauti, nelaukti nieko ir išeiti.

Patiekalai: a) "Taco jautienos sriuba". Skonis žemesnio nei vidutinis lygis. Valgyti įmanoma, bet ne daugiau. Šitoje sriuboje labiausiai trūko pačios jautienos. O patį maisto pateikimą vertinu kaip pasityčiojimą iš maisto dekoravimo idėjų. b) "Tom Yum su vištiena". Valgoma, bet ne daugiau. c) "Thai makaronai su jūros gėrybėmis". Imti 13eur už paprasčiausią užpiltą bomžpakį iš "Maxima" turėtų būti laikoma nusikaltimu. Kas čia per vieta, jeigu net makaronų paruošti nesugeba? d) "Keptos vištienos filė mėsainis". Turbūt pats blogiausias gyvenime valgytas mėsainis. Jeigu ne tie svogūnai, gal dar taip nevertinčiau, bet už tokį paruošimą virėjas(-a) turėtų būti ne tik spiriamas iš darbo, bet ir išvis jam(-ai) uždrausta dirbti su maistu. Tokia neapykanta ir tokios patyčios maisto produktams yra tiesiog netoleruotina. e) Bendrai porcijos. Porcijos tragiškai mažos, o kainos pernelyg didelės.

Jau gerokai prieš pietus žmonės renkasi pagerti. Akivaizdu, kad Druskininkuose ši vietelė labiau vertinama kaip paprasčiausia girdykla. Ne kažką. Visgi, net jeigu čia ir girdykla, tai turėtų būti keliami aukštesni aptarnavimo, kokybės ir maisto patiekimo standartai.

Apibendrinus nesuvokiama, kodėl ši vieta gavusi tokį aukštą vertinimą. Jie tuos vertinimus nusiperka? Ar žmonės Lietuvoje tokie nusižeminę vergai, jog sutinka mokėti dešimtis eurų už bet ką, jas jiems yra patiekiama? Bet esu linkęs tikėti, kad visgi čia būtent ši įstaiga padirbėjo su juodosiomis marketingo...
