Stayed here for one night with my wife. At the arrival, although booking time is 15:00 hours, we were allowed to book in at 12:00 hours. The room was not large. However, it was clean, tidy and seemed like it had a recent refurbishment. The bed, most importantly, was very comfortable we slept like babies. I must add; the room had a best view - the Nemunas river. The room bar, unlike other hotels we visited, was free of charge, the coffee, bottled water and tea. OK, let's go to the dinner and the bar. We ordered an octopus dish. However, our charming waitress and a barmaid (named Jolanta) told us not to bother with it as it wasn't worth the money and offered to order a squid dish instead. Our best regards to the chef and Jolanta, the food was delicious and it was proportionate to the price. Thank you, Chef and Jolanta, for making it happen! I just would like to advise the establishment. Please ensure that the variety of cocktails the establishment offers is increased; simple Jager bombs we're not available when requested, but this was a minor issue. In the morning; the breakfast selection was great, food was fresh and well served. In conclusion - we for sure will stay here again and will advise our friends to do so. What a reception, service and the comfort! Oh yeah, I forgot. P.S My wife just told me to say a massive thank you to the chef for making pancakes, for breakfast, staffed with the curd, apples, and spices. Thank you Violeta's Management and the staff. We will...
Read moreWe booked a suite in the hotel for couple nights, the room was fine . The river at the back of the hotel provides pastoral feeling, but there is nothing else to do in the hotel , dinner at the hotel was good , breakfast was reasonable but below our expectations. We had better breakfasts in two other hotels in Lithuania .||The hotel’s fitness center is poor and the small jacuzzi pool (SPA) was much less attractive than the photo picture hence we didn’t use it. We tried to book a massage a day in advance , but all was booked (apparently there is only one massagist in the hotel ) , the receptionist recommended to approach the Draugystės sanitorium across the street where the pool is located. The staff in the sanitorium didn’t speak English – they are not equipped with the basic capabilities to serve western tourists. , the place provides medical massages of 10 up to 30 minutes so we skipped. The outside pool size was reasonable but the all setup wasn’t tempting hence we skipped it too. We drove one mile and enjoyed swimming in the aquapark and got 60 minutes classic massage at the Druskininkai Gydykla ( both are connected buildings ) – the massage was weak and didn’t meet our expectations . We regret not taking an hotel closer to this complex and other attractions ( e.g. Bazars ,restaurants and rental...
Read moreVery good location: though a bit further from Aquapark and very very centre, it is also more quiet, and you can reach it by taking a nice walk through the river strand. Views from hotel are magnificient. |Hotel provides their own small sauna (rather Turkish) and jacuzzi, but it offers you also a pool with sauna just in the next building (free of charge). So as Aquapark was overcrowded one weekend we went there and it was ok.|Rooms are comfy and all you need. |Breakfast is good, and dinner meals are just superb! Staff is very helpful and hospitable. |We stayed in some hotels in Druskininkai, and we were very happy to...
