Sala — Restaurant in Kaunas

We had to order food 3 times and talked to 4 waitresses and the owner. It took us to wait 1,5h for them to only get our order lost 3 times... we were here with championship and we dont have this much time. We worked all day and then had to wait 1,5h for them to serve the soup? And we were only warned that the soup we ordered twice was long time gone only when we asked the third waitress what took them so long to get our food. The order was simple, it was all on lunch meniu and they knew about the championship since it was happening in zalgeris arena ( we even had organizers cards on). So to say, if you have all the time in the world to wait for soup that wasn't even your first choice since they forgot to mention they don't have it twice, and love to watch people around you eat and leave when you haven't even received your cappuccino you ordered an hour and a half ago? I wasn't even in a bad mood and didn't make a scandal but come on, it's not that hard to serve soup and coffee. In the end, we waited two hours ( an order for take out for another person) and they didn't even give our order completely! After hearing it and writing it down 4 times, By 3 waitresses and the owner herself. It's just embarrassing especially when there were more then 5...

Tokio apsileidimo tikrai negaliu nutylėti... ,,Žalgirio‘‘ burgeris su jautiena (600 g) Su marinuotomis daržovėmis, chipotle padažu ir bulvių lazdelėmis Apgavystė, visiška tragedija ir restorano (užeigos) gėda. Už 9,50 €! Gaila nenufotografavau... Bet nebesinorėjo į jį net žiūrėti. Kuo skiriasi nuo Hesburger sūrainio už 1 eur? - įdėtas salotos lapas ir dydžiu šiek tiek didesnis. Nė kiek neperdedu! Tiesa, sūrainis skanesnis. Kai užsakant pasakiau, kad noriu burgerio vidutiniškai kepto, tai padavėja net nesuprato apie ką aš čia :D. Gavau burgerį pagamintą iš užšaldytos mėsos (kurios ten max 100g). Ji buvo atšildyta (tikrai ne ant grilio kepta, kaip žadėjo padavėja), nes ir vaizdas, ir skonis buvo užšaldyto ir mikrobangėje pašildyto apvirto kotleto. Taip! Plokščio pilkos spalvos neaiškios mėsos kotleto! Fuuui. Tiesa - tos marinuotos daržovės, kurios išskirtos aprašyme, tai trys agurkėlio juostelės po bandele, iš optima linija...

The restaurant is in the very center of Kaunas, lots of free parking spaces, beautiful view of river Nemunas from the terrace. Food really surprised me - it's exceptionally good. Different colours and textures in dishes, no borring ingredients. I just love this place. Best...
