Molinis ąsotis, Beer restaurant, K. Pakutinskas enterprise — Restaurant in Palanga

I had visited here in end of May, only getting around to writing a review, I normally don’t bash any place easily & pretty easy to please. I was originally drawn to the place, because it looked very traditional style & jazz music playing was inviting, but when I arrived, the waiters were very cold & even me making a joke trying to seem more inviting, I got no response. The food was nice, but portions were either half portions or full & the waiter didn’t take the time to inform me better to make sure I made the best decision. The milk in my latte tasted odd, so I asked to be replaced, they were claiming they were drinking the same milk with the staff, I wasn’t looking for an explanation, I was looking for my latte to be replaced with fresh milk. Then when I got the big food order I couldn’t finish all of it, so I asked for a bag to go & normally the plate is taken away to be placed into it & brought out afterwards, but instead I had the casing brought out to me, so I place it in myself, it was very windy that day, as I was sitting in the outdoor area, so I struggled to get the food in & the plastic bag nearly got blown away, as I was eating alone. We tried to order traditional Lithuanian dish ,,cepelinai,, for last two years and answer used to be ,, sorry we do not have,, , but today we surprised that they had it, so we tried and it was so delicious. Staff was nice as well. But, this place probably need new manager , as bar area is very dirty, looking not in best shape, mess all over it, no coziness, seems like ,, alcoholic bar,,, so then starting thinking how the kitchen looks like. All place needs deep cleaning, reorganize, and do more cozy. But funniest thing on second floor there is big triangle window and it's half blids felt down loonngg time ago , around two ears ago, and nobody fixed it. Maistas skanus, bet aptarnavimas labai jau letas. Food is great but service is very slow. You'll wait probably about an hour for your meal to arrive. Porcions are big so keep that in mind. Kugelis with pig ears was amazing. Soup was good too. I'll pass on grab meat salad as it has way too much mayo. Atmosphere is nice. Have lots of seating outside too and since it's in the main street with only foot traffic it's fun to just do people watch. I come here every time I'm in Palanga.
