Sushi Masters Palanga — Restaurant in Palanga

We went there on this summer. We were met by some kindly smiling waitresses but although it was a midday and there were a few visitors in restaurant it took some time for them to bring us menu and take orders from us. We ordered 2 sushi sets (8 sushi). Waitress brought us 3 big bottles of different sauces immediately. You can see them in restaurant images. And we were wondering why do we need so much sauces for sushi. I personally think that the only sauce needed for sushi is soy sauce and it should be light. Sushi is such a food which taste should not be blocked by heavy sauces. But maybe modern hipsters have different opinions. We waited for sushi for some quite time although there were a few visitors in the restaurant at that time. When we got sushi we were even more surprised why do we need so much sauce for them. Sushi were delicious but they were super small. And about ginger and wasabi, I haven't seen that someone could be so stingy about ginger and wasabi. There were sooo little of them. You should add more ginger and wasabi, and not those ridiculous big...

We travelled down to Palanga just to try this sushi. Yes, just for the sushi. We waited to be seated by the entrance and the waitress explained how the expected food time would be a 1 hour wait. At first I was a little confused as the place didn’t appear busy. We ate inside, the decor is fabulous. Really cosy and it gives off a nice ambiance. To speak of the food….. it was absolutely mouth watering and divine. Probably the best sushi I’ve ever had in this lifetime 🙌🏼 when the food arrived I understood the wait, the food is made fresh and the chefs can be seen cooking the food. We ve been here for a dinner in August. The location is very nice and modern. We had vegetarian Maki and was tasty and well prepared. What was not ok is the service. The girls were kind but the table, chairs and all the bottle they brang to us were not properly clean. We are unfortunately living in covid hera and it is not acceptable to get the bottles of sauces full of fingerprints, the same for the chairs. We found a piece of a tap of previous customers over napkins box, and nobody removed during a the time we remained there. Finally we waited a lot for the food.
