We stayed in March during offseason and we feel like it was still quite crowded because of the layout of the hotel. The reception and the spa are side by side, so when you're going there you're passing the entrance with people entering in, in your bathrobe 😄 we missed the feeling of being able to chill out in our bathrobes after the spa treatments as there we're no designated area to sit with a cup of tea or something, the pool area is simply too small to do that, if there are at least 4-6 people already there. We booked a studio at first but within the first few hours we noticed that it was super noisy - the walls are really thin, so we could hear the neighbours both upstairs and from the side. Strange, because the receptionist assured us that it was the "calmer" wing of the hotel, but that side is turned to "Rąžė" nightclub and other people usually choose studios with children, so automatically it couldn't be true. Also, the path to the studio is quite weird as you must go outside first or go to the second floor and go down the stairs later, so I guess not really conveniently accessible to people with strollers or wheelchairs. We asked to change the room and got a double room next to the staircase on the 2nd floor which had fewer neighbours and was much quieter. Thanks to nice receptionist Ona. The food was quite nice, the coffee from the machine had actual coffee beans and had some oat milk ready, you could order different meals as well as choose some snacks from the bar. The interior design is definitely beautiful, the main seating area is very cosy and reminds you of a living room. Had some nice design books for you to read. I couldn't imagine staying there during the summer because of the constant noise from "Rąžė" nightclub, if we heard it both Friday and Saturday during offseason, I can imagine it's even worse in the summer and continues through the weekdays as well. Overall, it's a very strange setup and location for a spa hotel, we think the staff provided where the facilities lack and it shouldn't be this way. What you see on social media doesn't translate in reality and for the price point we would choose a different place...
Read moreWhat a wonderful experience. ✨ I escaped the chaos of city life and immersed myself in the spa, hoping to shake off burnout—and it worked! The staff was incredibly professional, and the entire place felt impeccably clean and cozy.
💎 The location is a gem, especially in winter. I stayed in early March, and it was wonderfully peaceful—perfect for a true escape. The surrounding nature adds to the calm, making it an ideal retreat for rest and relaxation.
I truly appreciate a spa hotel that invests in high-end design, branding, and architecture. Monist nails it—from a flawless website to thoughtfully placed branding elements throughout the hotel and spa, every detail is carefully curated.
🧖🏻 And the massages—oh, the massages! If there’s a heaven for massage therapists, Monist’s specialists would be running the place. My burnt-out body switched into relaxation and recovery mode instantly. Huge thanks to Vaida, Genutė, and Kristina for their exceptional work!
Also, make sure to reach out to the incredibly professional administrators—they'll help tailor the best pricing and financial deal for your stay, ensuring you get the most value out of your visit.
I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a fully immersive retreat to recharge your energy, this is the place to be.
One thing to note: there’s Rąžė bar just across the river. While it was quiet during my stay, if you're booking in peak season, be aware there might be a party or two happening nearby.
Thank you...
Read moreWhat a woderful experience! Located in the very heart of Palanga and opened only few years ago, hotel is nicely integrated into surrounding trees, providing a feeling of being in the nature. Autumn season empties this resort town, yet hotel was busy and almost fully occupied. Fresh and cosy interior, soft carpets, muting the sounds at max, elegant, ascetic yet very comfortable rooms promised a good start of the visit. Rooms have all you need - slippers, robes, mini bar, huge TV, balcony, closets, cosy bathroom. Restaurant serves exceptional breakfast with carefully selected dishes like rabbit pate, local cheeses, whipped butter, sweet bakes and (I believe) own baked breads. In addition you can get individually made eggs, pankakes or porriges. I very much liked tiny details like fresh mint or thyme for tea! Evening dinner was beautiful and memorable, allow yourself a treat of upper level dining! And the SPA zone welcomed us with relaxing area of sauna and jacuzzi style pool, clean and prepared areas for showering or towel shelves. Optional SPA services were skipped this time due to short stay. My biggest and warmest gratitude goes to staff: amazing ladies in the front desk, restaurant area. Such a fluent, welcoming, stay is only possible thanks to them. We felt like old friends returning home, I really...
