CAFFEINE LT — Restaurant in Vilnius

Prefect place with a single, silly flaw: As an artist, I come frequently to work here. The atmosphere, the energy, the aura… it’s just 🤌

In general the staff is friendly, some are just quieter.

Coffee is decent. But I don’t come here for coffee, I come here for Šalta braškių arbata. Such a banger. Order it every time.

Now, as for food- I am very biased of coffee shop foods in general, there is always something wrong with sandwiches that have meat. That’s why their Chicken Focaccia pleasantly surprised me. There is nothing wrong with it, and I just can’t find a single flaw.

As for THE flaw, the only flaw of this place and the reason why there is only 4 stars…

The darn flies. There is always at least two of these little abominations trying to occupy your table. Like damn, I came here for a coffee, not an upper body workout trying to pry my dear focaccia away from the terrorizing little bastard.

They have the electric fly killer, but it’s only near the cashier. If they get another one, their atmosphere will become 5/5.

Caffeine, I love you, please love me back and protect me from the flies 🥺❤️

[Edit after Cafe’s response:] Caffeine, in fact, has not protected me from the flies or gave any clues that they ever will😔 Lowering my review from 5 stars to 4 stars in hope they will pay attention to this. Also, come to think of it, the tables are dirty most of the time, customers have to clean the spilled coffee or crumbs left from previous people by themselves. June 9, 2025, around 18:08-18:10 I came to the cafe to buy my favorite ekleras. Barista looked at me at least twice, ignored, proceeded with her activities, PICKED UP A PHONE, and ran somewhere without any word, excuse or at least an acknowledgment like “sorry, one minute, I’ll be back”. Well, no ekleras for me today, I guess.

Horrible service (absence of it) and terrible barista, it’s a no-no for a great place like caffeine. I hope she will face the consequences and find a job that suits her non-customer oriented...

I love this place but today (Mar 31th) I had a terrible experience. I spent 12 min waiting to be served, and even being the only person on the queue I left without having any coffee simply because the cashier disappeared. Please instruct your staff to be more accountable during...
