MAGMA — Restaurant in Vilnius

To begin with, only one waitress was in there, and she was talking Russian or Ukrainian only. No English. No Lithuanian. At least she was trying to be nice and explain things :) Apart from the challenges to communicate, my experience was below average. Honestly, I was expecting much more based on the reviews. However, disappointment was inevitable. Generally, visual representation of the food was ok, but the meat I had was quite unclear both visually and in terms of the taste. Even the salads were flavourless. The mix of fresh oranges and grapefruits was the only thing I enjoyed there apart of the company. It's a nice and warm restaurant with many dishes to choose from. You might find it a bit crowdy on weekends and also sometimes there are some people whom likes their drinks too much... The food is great, drinks are nice and there's couple of wines to choose from. Try their soups - they're absolutely delicious! The parking is a bit tight so You might find it difficult to park your car...

It is not my style place, but the food there is really delicious. You can choose from a variety of grilled meats and be surprised of presentation. Soups  and Lithuanian dishes are also worth mentioning. There you can also taste traditional non-alcohol home-made lithuanina beverage gira. Definitely recomend if you are looking for place to fully fill your belly...
