My partner and I recently moved to Vilnius for business and we live near this bar. Yesterday, October 11th, 2026, we wanted a quiet place to have a beer and a cider after dinner, since it was Saturday night, so we went around 10:30 p.m. and stayed until midnight.
We had always wanted to visit this place because it looked nice whenever we walked by on our way home. That said, we have never been treated so badly anywhere.
A brunette waitress, with her hair tied up and dressed in black, was the one who served us. She clearly seemed very annoyed that we were foreigners — she tapped the menu impatiently with her fingers, rushed us to choose, and pointed at drinks in frustration because we didn’t speak Lithuanian. This rudeness was accompanied by sighs and by her hitting the menu, as if we were animals she was trying to instruct, with evident disgust, on something we could not understand. You might think this was just my impression, but it wasn’t.
When the drinks were ready (a beer and two ciders — as you can imagine, we’re calm people who barely drink), she threw them on the table without a word or a look, clearly showing her disgust. In my opinion, those facial expressions and gestures were not accidental — it’s impossible to make such obvious faces of disgust without doing it on purpose.
Well before closing time, while other customers were still enjoying their drinks and chatting, she came over, visibly annoyed, and slammed the bill box on the table saying “cash or card.” My partner said “cash,” but since she didn’t understand, she repeated “cash or card” quite rudely. Without even looking at us, she took the box with the payment and later brought the change in the same unpleasant way.
This young woman should not be working here. She was rude, racist, and unprofessional. I have lived in several countries for business, and never in my life have I experienced such racist and disrespectful treatment as I did yesterday from this waitress — especially in a bar that is supposed to offer good service.
In case anyone is wondering about our nationality or looks, we are Spanish, and we were...
Read moreI recently visited this place and ordered their fish and chips, a classic pub staple that I was looking forward to. Unfortunately, the meal failed to live up to its promising presentation. While the plate looked good upon arrival, the quality of the food was subpar. The fish was dry and lacked any noticeable seasoning, with a thin batter that didn't provide the crisp, flavorful coating one expects. The chips had the texture and taste of a fast-food chain rather than a freshly made side. The sauces were also a letdown; the tartar was very thin, and the pea mash tasted as if it came straight from a can. To top it all off, the beer I ordered was flat. While the presentation was appealing on the menu, the overall dining experience was a disappointment. The food lacked seasoning and was poorly prepared, and the drinks were of poor quality. I hope the kitchen takes this feedback into consideration to improve the basics...
Read moreWe recently visited this restaurant and had such a great experience!
🐚Scallops. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and brought us right back to sunny Spain. The bread on the side perfectly finished the whole course. 🐙Octopus hot-dog. Something we had never tried before, and we were pleasantly surprised. The combination worked really well, and the bun was fresh and tasty. 🐠Fish & Chips. Hands down the best we’ve had in town so far! Fresh fish with crispy golden fries – simple but outstanding. 🦀Crab Risotto. Creamy, rich, and full of flavor. We didn’t expect it to be this good, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening. Definitely worth ordering.
We’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. Highly...
