I dont event know where to start. Went for a what they call tasting menu in the fine dining restaurant (remove the tasting and remove the fine from there). Food: for €100+ pp got almost tasteless little pieces of: *1 piece each 1 oyster tasted like burnt cheese sandwich 1 scallop tasted like vinegar 1 ravioli tasted like crab sticks 1 octopus tentacle, rubber with some spicy sauce 1/3 martini glass with some sharbat Tasteless dessert
Service:Most servers/bartenders blunt. No personal touch, everyone were served at the same time as if we were in the canteen, regardless of who/when was finished with their dish.
Side note: had reservation at 8:30, were only sat at the table around 8:50 ,didnt receive main (octopus) until it was 22:00.
Dont really know what it is like with a standard menu, perhaps better because you get your dish prepared for you individually, which was not the case with the tasting menu.
The positives: the restaurant itself is beautiful but thats...
Read moreUnfortunately, our Valentine's Day dinner experience was a complete disappointment. From the moment we arrived, the service was lackluster and the food fell far below our expectations. Not a single course managed to impress us; in fact, we struggled to find anything enjoyable about the meal. Despite being self-proclaimed foodies, we couldn't overlook the poor quality of both the dishes and the service. After suffering through the main course, we made the decision to cut our losses and leave early. For the 100 euros we shelled out, we certainly didn't feel like we got our money's worth. The food, at best, was worth a mere fraction of the price we paid. If you value good service and flavorful dishes, I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment. While the presentation may have been passable, the taste and quality of the food were downright atrocious. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a different...
Read moreI cannot comment on the food because after having to wait for a while to be served we decided to only have a glass of wine and not try any of the oysters/snacks from the bar menu.
What was even more disappointing we ordered a glass of wine for 14€ and I am very certain this was the price and also to be found on the websites menu. Yet we have been charged 17€ instead for no reason. We mentioned this fact to the person who gave us the bill and yet she didn’t insist to go and check the menu immediately she just said she would check later in the system. We never felt this ripped off and it is not about the 6€ extra, it is about the principle.
We were planning to go there for a brunch the morning after but this experience left such a bitter after taste that it was our first...
