I came for the Korean BBQ experience and had to book a table in advance, with a 2-hour time limit. The food was fine—nothing to complain about. However, the service left much to be desired. My drinks were forgotten, and when coffee was brought, it came without a spoon or sugar, which I then had to ask for myself.

As our time limit approached, the waitress reminded us that our 2 hours were nearly up, and added that we have to leave in 5 minutes because she needed 10 minutes to clean the table—despite the fact that all other BBQ tables were already empty and cleaned. This made us feel rushed and very uncomfortable.

Food was good, but very disappointed with the service and logistics. 1) Menu was smaller than the one in old town. 2) reservations cannot be done over the phone (another restaurant can) and it was suggested to go to instagram and fill some form. 3) The restaurant itself has dozens of tables, but only 5-6 were available for korean bbq, which is literally in the restaurants title. 4) Although all those tables were empty, all of them were also booked. We asked if we could wait, maybe someone wouldnt show up. We were told that its 40minutes until next booking +15minutes to show up. Very cool experience overall! A reservation is definitely a must for the KBBQ. The main reason I had to knock a star off was the long wait for the food—nearly 45 minutes—which felt a bit odd, considering it’s all raw and you’re the one cooking it. I noticed that some other tables, served by different staff, were given complimentary chips while they waited. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any :( I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, as our server seemed a bit lost—perhaps it was just an oversight by newer staff.
