2nd update: Decided to give another chance for a Pavlova cake here. This time I had it in the cafe. Indeed, the cafe staff are welcoming. They provided detailed response on how to eat the cake and even explained how long to wait for the tea to brew. The Pavlova cake with the passion fruit flavour was well balanced in terms of sweetness and sourness, with fresh ingredients and it was not soggy. Unfortunately, I expected more crispiness, but that is more of a personal desire. Also, inside was a bit dry but that dryness was balanced with the jam inside.
1st update: Thank you for a swift response. It is pleasure to know that you value quality. Yes, I know how fragile this cake is; thus, I recommend to dine in or as you suggested ...to use your delivery service.
Original post: I specifically visited to grab Pavlova classic cake as it is one of my favourite deserts. It is not even summer or the beginning of autumn, but sadly whipped cream almost melted as I reached home, although it took me 35 minutes to get home. So the melted juicy part destroyed the taste of merengue... ((. I have no words to describe how sad I was. Quite unfortunate that I could not enjoy the desert fully. So if you take it as a takeaway..fly home asap or dine in as the atmosphere and...

Read moreThe prices are unreasonably high and don't match the country's reality and market. Situated in a remote industrial area, packed with outlet shops, which is far from the city centre or Old town. The dessert, which is popular all around the world, consists only of three ingridients and doesn't require any precision or skills in assembling, costs more than caviar, éclairs or other versatile desserts. The staff doesn't know their products: they said there are no cherries or cherry confiture inside the chocolate Pavlova, only two cherries on top, but at home we found quite the opposite. Also, selling the overpriced dessert, that is fragile in nature, the staff haven't heard about the sticker, that you glue to the bottom of the box and immobilise the product, so that it doesn't move inside while being carried or transported.... Only recommended if you need to impress your date with...
