A rather disappointing, Mexican experience. It’s more fusion than Mexican.
What we’ve tried: Special Ceviche Soft shell crab tacos Pimientos Padron Beef tacos Beef filet with black mole Pulpo with apricot mole
Sadly the only thing I enjoyed was the mole and the meat (after a few back-and-forth).
My biggest concerns: The menu doesn’t state exactly what you get. Many of the items felt deep fried, which wasn’t stated anywhere. The soft shell crab was overly fried and even the octopus had more oil than on any Spanish equivalent dish (pulpo a la gallega, etc) I wasn’t asked for the doneness of the steak. Instead, they brought it raw and said that “this is how we serve it” The only, actually Mexican things were the tacos itself (not the fillings), as well as the black mole
Overall, it’s a nice atmosphere and great for drinks and to relax, but I highly recommend avoiding the food if you’re into actual Mexican flavors as you’ll most likely get disappointed.
I won’t return, and I only hope the owners read this and improve what’s happening in the kitchen as right now it’s...
Read moreI wouldn't call it traditional. Is it fine Mexican dining? Yes. But more modern.
Don't be, fool. It's not even traditional fine dining.
The wacamole was ok. I'm from México City. I grew up eating every traditional, home, street, and fine dining dishes from my country.
Where are the salsas, the spicy culture of México is represented in our spices, hot and firery dishes.
I am an aggressive critic of Mexican food. especially if its Name after my city. LA CAPITAL, México City, México.
I'm currently living in Vilnius, and I am eating at every Mexican restaurant. So far, I haven't been pleased.
At least, put mariachi music and light up the place with True México City environment. Have salsas, which makes my culture proud.
Unfortunately, this fine dining doesn't do justice to my culture.

I give this place 1 star.
I'm very disappointed. And no hot, spicy Salsas.

Read moreI would have loved to give this place 5 stars, but I just couldn’t. I’m originally from New York City and have worked in/dined in several upscale authentic Mexican restaurants in my life. The service here was decent. Nothing to be excited about - took a long time for the drinks. The decor was interesting and nicely done. The drinks were pleasantly tasty. They did a good job on the drinks. The appetizers were very yummy - we had corn soup, shrimp tostadas, ceviche, and guacamole. Then came the entrees (chicken mole and fish Veracruzana). SUPER disappointing. No flavor. Dry. Boring. Mediocre. Then came the dessert and we were back on track! The churros were excellent. I don’t understand why the entrees were so bland compared to the rest of the meal. The place was also way OVERPRICED for what they were serving. The cost of the meal and the entrees took away 2...
