Gan bei city - Panorama — Restaurant in Vilnius

Today we wanted to have breakfast at Gan bei city. We arrived 20 min. before the opening and decided to browse their menu while waiting. The menu is left before the gate (i.e., not inside the restaurant). As we approached the menu, the bartender from afar started yelling "we are closed", no "hello", no nothing. Then, he started complaining about us to other members of the staff. He bassically started dropping filth on us, and in such a way that we could hear it. I thought it was rude, so I told him that it's inappropriate to shout this and talk about us in this way. In turn, he responded with more anger and shouting. Poor guy clearly had a bad morning. Poor HR to have hired such an unstable person in a frontline position. Poor customers to have their time screwed by this. Lucklily there were ok options next to this place. The restaurant is located in a scenic area with a beautiful view of the city landscape through the large window walls. The restaurant decor is very stylish and modern with faux moss decor on the walls as well as wooden interior and dark dim lighting which sets the mood. Restaurant is perfect for a romantic date night or a family or business dinner. The menu features a wide range of Chinese and Asian fusion dishes, each expertly crafted and prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients. From savoury stir fried to flavour full noodle dishes and a variety of seafood and meat dishes. Very nice tough with the open bar and open plan kitchen and you can observe the chefs cooking the dishes and the sushi. Very large menu. overall - great experience! sushi was quite good, great deals for lunch, and servings are quite big for the prices (LUNCH prices, not regular). the food was pretty delicious (except the fact that lemon chicken wasn't very lemony), however, the service - not really. the table wasn't wiped before sitting us, we didn't get the hot towels as per usual. the waitress was very 'unimpressed' with everything around, but lunch time is quite busy time in the restaurant, so she might have just been tired, which is totally understandable. also, it took a while to get the check, too. oh, by the way, the environment is A-MA-ZING. that green wall.. 😍 we would for sure come back to have lunch here, but there's always room for...
