Au Chocolat — Restaurant in Clervaux

This place ripped us off and stole my sons money. He spent his 2 euros on a trinket from the vending machine right in front however it was broken and didn’t work. When we complained; they acknowledged knowing it was broken, declined to give us the 2€ back, and refused to put up a sign stating it was broken for the next person. Trash establishment staffed with trash people. Really a poor reflection on an otherwise scenic spot. I’d give them a lesser review if I could....

We had brunch there, start of April. Felt like the personnel was at training. Ordered a sandwich with jambon and cheese, and got one only with jambon, even if I had stressed twice and show actually on the menu which one I wanted during ordering to make sure the waitress got it right. Tha baguette was really tasty. The waffle was good when it came out fresh, quickly it became soggy by the cream. Had an ok, experience, would go back only with lowered...

If it was possible to give zero stars they would get that. Absolute shambles. When we first visited the shop they were so busy that there was just melt down (not a good thing for an icecream shop (!), so we decided to walk around and come back later. Big mistake, as by then there were only 3 flavors of ice cream left, and there was no communication as to where to order, how to get a cone, etc. People were served seemingly randomly. We left empty handed...
