Beim LUSS — Restaurant in Clervaux

A very unpleasant experience. We visited this café as a family — my wife and daughter ordered desserts and coffee and sat at a table outside. My son and I bought a kebab to go from a nearby place (as it wasn’t available here) and then joined them. We were calm, quiet, and respectful.

Suddenly, a waitress approached and very rudely and publicly told us that “you can’t eat outside food here.” While we understand the policy, the way she said it — loud and confrontational — was completely inappropriate. It could’ve been handled discreetly and politely.

We couldn’t help but feel that her attitude was discriminatory, maybe because of how we look or where we’re from. It left us embarrassed and uncomfortable.

My son and I ended up standing on the street, eating in front of their tables. A very disappointing and humiliating moment.

I am a frequent client and we always come to have breakfast here. Today we had a bad experience with a waitress/hostess with lenses that was yelling at us and mistreating us, saying over and over again that she was alone. Very bad customer service. She seems very upset and frustrated. She was extremely rude and she was raising her voice a lot in front of other customers. I still don't understand why. She doesnt know how to handle stress. Boulangerie Luss! My friend and I are exploring the Ardenne and came to Clervaux rather by accident, but the bakery mastery we found here was truly worth the trip! The bakery/ Patisserie „Beim Luss“ is a comfy space to spend 1,2 or many hours! Hardly ever before did we taste such lovely crossiants, so good we even went for a second one straight away!
