3.5 stars. Nudging it up because they were very courteous even though we had a major language barrier (only one server spoke English, I think). Really amazing desserts (the creme brûlée was top tier) and it looked like our neighboring table's pizzas were great but unfortunately the lamb that I got wasn't very good, it was a bit tough, not very flavorful and a disappointing cut of meat, and not inexpensive. The green beans with it were delicious and the potato side was amazing. My partner's swordfish was tasty but the veggies with it were just alright. The menu is incredibly extensive but it seems that you should stick to the tried and true dishes. The wine was good. They mixed up our check with another table and let my partner pay for it but when I noticed the discrepancy and pointed it out they were quick to correct the issue by returning the difference in bills. A little odd as they weren't really full (the restaurant was at maybe 40% capacity at most), but mistakes happen and they fixed it.
I think they probably have a very good chef based on the excellent elements to our meals, but not the best selection of ingredients for infrequently ordered items - feels like they might be better off condensing their menu items, I'd rather have less choice as long as every choice is good.

I had a previous disappointing experience at L'Osteria in Kirchberg a few months ago when I ordered a vegan pizza and received one with real cheese without any warning. However, I decided to give L'Osteria another chance today and visited their Belval location. I opted for the vegan pizza: Forza. From the very start, it was evident that the cheese on it was vegan.
Let me tell you, I've never had a vegan pizza that was as well crafted as this one. The toppings were in perfect harmony, creating a delightful flavour combination. Additionally, the pizza was impressively big, a true feast for someone with a hearty appetite like myself. The staff were not only extremely friendly but also highly skilled in their service.
I'm definitely planning to return to this place, and I can't wait to invite all my vegan-loving friends to savour their incredible...

Serveurs incompétents! Le 09/03/2024 moi et mes coupines avant reserver une table pour 10personnes pour 20H30. En arrivant au restaurant j’ai demandé au serveur si serais possible de faire une surprise a une de mes amies après le manger, car c’etait son anniversaire, la reponse etait oui bien sure sans problème alors j’ai commandé tout de suit un moeulleux au chocolat avec une bougie pour dès qu’on finissait de manger. À 22h20m je me leve pour demander au serveur d’aumoins nous ramener du pain car nous n’avions toujours pas reçu notre plat.
Un peu prés 10min après on reçoit le manger. Pendant qu’on mange personnes viens nous demander si on veux boire, c’etait une des filles qui a appelé le serveur. On fini de manger et toujours personnes viens nous voir.
23heures passés une serveuse vien commancer a soulever les assiettes, on demande le dessert et elle nous repond que se n’est plus possible de nous servir du dessert, derrière son dos, le serveur que s’en occupé de notre table reponde: Si, IL Y A DU DESSERT. La serveuse va vers la cuisine et quand elle sort de là, elle viens vers nous et nous dis: DESOLÉ MAIS LA CUISINE EST FERMER ON NE SERS PLUS DE DESSERT! Et elle est partie. On se retrouve comme des cons en se regardant les uns les autres.
Ensuite une de nous a appelé la serveuse et lui a demander si on pouvais avoir du café et la reponse etait encore negativ, on ne sers plus de café non plus! Du coup on a demander de nous appeler la responsable qui est venue très rapidement nous voir a table. On lui a tout raconter et a la fin elle nous propose un digestiv que c’etait la SEULE CHOSE, quelle pouvait faire pour nous. On lui a dis que nous ne bouvons pas de digestiv, pas d’alcool. La responsable etait etonné comme si ça serait une chose rare et nous a dis bon desolé alors et est partie!
Quelques minutes après les serveurs sortent de la cuisine avec un morceau de tiramissu en chantant joyeux anniversaire pour ma coupine. Et encoreeeeeeeee, ils ont oublier de ramener une cuillère pour manger le dessert.
A la fin, vu qu’on est des personnes civilisées, on s’est levées, payer ce qu’on avait consommer et on est partie. Mais biens sure on y retournera plus jamais labas!
Deco 5*, les plats etait bons aussi, mais le service a table 0!!!!!
C’etait un grand manque de respect enver nous, très mauvais service et on espere que ca changera un jour pour le bien du patron.
