安邦 Kopi 茶铺 Origin Coffee ☕☕☕☕☕☕ — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

Finally trying this neighborhood cafe. No fancy interior but it's giving a really home-feel vibes.

Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was really hot. The staff asked if we wanted to change inside with aircon, even after placing orders already.

Order for 3 pax: Soup pan mee: super flavourful soup, wish the chilli is more spicy though.

Peanut porridge: peanut is steamed, not toasted so it's soft with the porridge. Very nice porridge for a morning brunch.

Tomyam Mee Hoon: spicy but good meehoon.

French toast: very good dessert! It has kaya & peanut butter inside. It's decadent & so good after all savory meal.

Kaya butter toast Soft boiled eggs x6

2 kopi iced 1 kopi hot: not too sweet t Which suits my taste.

Total rm56, so so cheap and such good service! Definitely will come back to try...

Thu 30 Jun 2022. I dropped by this place for a drink after self- collect the Jumbo chicken bun nearby. This alfresco-like Cafe provides a good range of drinks, snacks and popular quick-bite dishes. The menu is extensive and included several Korean health drinks. I ordered a glass of warm bamboo sugarcane drink to chilled down and made a call for e-hailing to get h me to the LRT station. Food and beverages are also a available for home delivery. An interesting observation is that the drinks for takeaways are served in the disposible plastic bags hanging on to a raffia string loop with a drinking straw included. Serve crew were courteous and attentive. Prices are wallet-friendly. Parking bays are limited...

Nasi lemak ayam merah and green rendang chicken- all the flavours are in point. Chicken tender, fried egg with crispy side and the sambal actually took me by surprise. Is the type that I fancy, savoury spicy. Their tom yum meehoon is cooked to perfection as well. Mee hoon texture is al dente. Made me ordered a second serving. Cendol is good, with the right texture and colour. Personally, would prefer to have more gula melaka. But nonetheless, their cendol is not a disappointment. 1 star less because of the cham peng. There are definitely room for improvement for the servers as they do not wear a friendly/ welcoming face greeting...
