Famous for excessive waiting time (over an hour more) and Tilted customer. Long waiting time does not guaranteed the food in top form. Utterly disappointed
Long waiting time Placed order at 12:10pm, for a steam fish head and a salted fish taugee (bean sprouts). Was told by a lady who took the order to wait at least 45 minutes. Bear in mind, 45mins for the steam fish head is an excessive time to wait for ! At 1pm the dishes had not arrived yet. No single courtesy to inform customer about additional waiting time until I went up to ask about my order at 1pm, told me to wait another 30 minutes. RIDICULOUS!!
Bad service No courtesy in informing customer for additional waiting time. At 12:10pm was told to wait for 45 MINUTES for the dishes to arrive. At 1pm I went up and ask about my order. Was told to wait another 30 MINUTES Zero courtesy or initiatives to inform customer for new additional waiting time despite already waited for more than 45 MINUTES!!
This happened on a Tuesday afternoon (WEEKDAY) I would not want to imagine during weekends. MORE TILTED CUSTOMERS !!

It is really worth the price! However, this stall is in within a food court " 126 Ampang Mewah food court", hence, the ambience may not be good and it can be very hot and crowded at times. As this is a popular place for steamed fish..Sometimes you may have to wait at least half an hour to one hour for your foods...
Read moreDue to the traffic jam getting to Ampang Jaya, we only arrived at Ampang Mewah 126 Foodcourt at 1.20pm (foodcourt closes at 3pm). Was delighted that the cook was still steaming fish. For the 4 of us, we ordered one ‘chen ching’ soong yee tau (steamed bighead carp), taufoo and taugeh. Also ordered from another stall mix platter of wat kai (steamed chicken) and crispy siew yoke (roast pork). The fish was fresh and steamed just right and covered generously with young fragrant ginger strips, chilli padi and fresh cilantro. We also enjoyed the crispy crackling of the pork skin. All in all a satisfying value for money, meal. We paid RM62 for the fish, taugeh and taufoo and 3...
