Been there on a peak period, we had to wait 50 mins for the first dish and another 10 mins (ie. 1 hr total) for the second dish. We weren’t 'warned' by staffs about the long wait which restaurants usually would even if its a 30 min wait.
Yes it was packed but it is poor management which caused the long wait layout is like a canteen almost so there is rarely any space to walk without bumping into others. the rate of food being served is sooo slow, it doesn’t make sense for the crowd that they had we see other customers who came after, get their orders before us, and staffs response was 'because they ordered XXX so its just frying, hence its faster', theoretically i understand, but wouldn't make sense if you're understaffed and the chef is constantly preparing for the 'quick dishes' and delaying the rests.
Perhaps only on an odd hour during a weekday, I might be able to enjoy their food a lot better.
Food wise, i will say that the Claypot chicken rice and laksa were good, dry pan mee was okay. The creamy lion head mushroom was meh, they added so much green beans and not much of mushroom, gravy...

So we might've had to wait more than 1 hour if we didn't ask the waiter? They were in a rush to collect our plates (that still had food in them) so I don't understand why it took so long to serve the food. Either extremely understaffed or just disappointing. How's the food? Definitely not worth the 50 minutes it took to be served. Creamy abalone mushroom? More like creamy vegetables with a little mushroom Kangkung belacan? Okay acceptable Pumpkin tofu? What even is this pumpkin sauce that doesn't even taste like pumpkin? Tofu was fine but the sauce totally bombed it Overall?...
Read moreTo my surprise, the food taste nice even it's vegetarian... Ordered hot sauce tofu, sizzling fish, fruit rojak & fried mushroom... I can taste the freshness of their fruit rojak. Despite not being able to out shrimp paste, the replace it well with peanut ingredient... Their tofu looks like self made and u can taste the egg and the texture if soft as well... The sizzling fish has a generous portion of 2 pieces of 'fish'... The fried mushroom is fries like buttered prawn... Overall it's worth paying every cents... Not wonder there crowd in this restaurant even on a weekday night... On top of ala carte dishes, they serve vegetarian noodles and...
