Polecats Coffee — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

When we drove here we got a bit lost because it’s a very small cafe beside a sundry shop and a big banana leaf restaurant, covered by blinds so we only found it after parking elsewhere and walking around and googling the number. Alas we arrived at a quaint and cute place, first one there so our food was the first to arrive. I think, I think, I think, there was only one guy working, he is probably the owner and also the cook 😊 so glad we were first to arrive.

The menu looks promising however my eggs Benedict for some reason, was very sour, like really but I don’t know whether it was the hollandaise sauce or the muffin that was sour but I didn’t finish it. I plan to come back with the kids but I don’t know whether kids will be thrilled because the menu doesn’t include sausage in their big breakfast ☺️

When the drinks were served I didn’t have the heart to ask for brown sugar because he was alone doing everything, so we took it ourselves. I have no idea who’s going to be washing the dishes later😅

Giving it a 4 not a 3 because I may have caught this place on a peak-hour window and probably staff haven’t arrived, and hence having just one person working may not be sufficient for the cafe, #suppotlokal☺️ I’ll come back next time to try.

Also btw, folks coming here please close the door as you exit or enter because the same guy has to return to the front everytime someone forgets to close the door 😅 Come early if you want parking space whilst price is as your normal...

As i step in to the cafe, its was a very small and cute cafe, thot was going to b my area for lepak , but it turn out so bad that its spoil my whole breakfast experience ... First, waited for the food to arrived was long, and never even bother to apologies sorry delay on food .. 3rd my bread was burnt and pancake too ... And even worse had my 2 nephew with me , u could tell them nicely but "eh eh don't .. As an women u should have at least say, Boys pls don't ya, later it broke how, ...at least b friendly , as people is dining at ur shop giving u a rezeki, . the whole experience spoil my morning and it was my sister bday...
