Quite a busy restaurant nearby housing area. A revamp to the old restaurant, which was long time ago a typical old kopitiam. Many customers come to this place. We went few times but could not wait for the queue.
Went for the first time with family. Food is ok. Just that the menu was not pictorial enough for us to decide and no pricing provided. A drawback.
We have to ask for recommendation by the bos. Quite confused also with the bos/waiter/waitress/servers of the restaurant. No uniform. So we could not decide who and who. Probably we may asked the wrong server which can be one of the customers. Another drawback.
Food serving is fast. Place is clean except if you are seated outside the restaurant. The drain smelly stench is unavoidable.
You might need to reserve if you want to be seated in the airconditioned room. Always full.
Anyway water/tea RM0.70. Rice per bowl RM1.50.
Signature beancurd RM14. Signature braisedpork leg RM30 👍 Stirfry potato leaf RM12 (huge portion.

Read moreHave not been to this place after a long hiatus due to its mediocre food and high prices the last time round. This time we decided to give it a try again. When we requested for a menu we were told that most of the items were not available. Instead the waitress recommended items that were pre cooked such as vinegar pig trotter, beggars chicken, herbal chicken, claypot pork rib, etc. We settled for beggar chicken, lala in soup and yow mak vege. In no time the dishes arrived....with the chicken and lala not piping hot; suggesting that they do not come straight from the wok. The beggar chicken taste bland and not fragrant as one would expect. The lala is rubbery with each of us barely getting 10 pieces each. For the 3 dishes we were charged RM108. Reasonable? You bet we will not come bsck again as there are so many other good eateries in...
