I noticed something interesting about this place, they actually have a proper restaurant shop lot, but the real action is still at the original warung under a tree by the roadside. It's right in front of a housing area. You can't beat the vibe there. With just a tent and tables set up on the roadside under the trees, it has a super relaxed feeling that totally matches their name. Sure, it's probably against by laws and the town council should take action, but I have a theory why no one reports them. That whole housing area is mostly rented by the operator themselves. To keep prices affordable for everyone, this is probably the only way they can operate. Now, about the service, it can be pretty frustrating during peak hours. The waitresses can come off as unfriendly, but I think it's just because they're completely overloaded with work. The Roti Telur is fantastic, really soft and tasty. The real heroes of the meal, though, are the dhal and sambal. They mix them together, and it's just next-level good. The Nasi Lemak is okay. It does the job, but there's nothing special about it. Shoutout to the lady who prepares the drinks, she's the real gem! The drinks taste exactly like what you get at a proper...
Read moreThis is my go to stall whenever my craving for roti canai arise. Original set up under a tree and now expanded to a shop just opposite. The friendly boss understands my specs, preparing a slightly garing version which when dipped basah into the thick dhall curry(unlike the usually watery ones elsewhere) spells heaven. Deliciuosly washed down with their hot teh tarik with that real oomph. Usually crowded in the mornings but tge wait is not long. You can pay for a meal for two for less than the price of a plate of char kueh teow in coffeeshops. Kudos...

Be aware that the roti canai size is BIGGER than most other places so I advise you to order one first and add on more later if needed. Parking is not that difficult. They also just open shop right in front of the stall so you can choose to sit inside or outside when it's...
