We found this place through Google Map and decided to give it a try. When we arrive there on Sunday 10.30am, the place is packed with customers. We had to queue and wait for a while before we can order and make our payment (by Boost). We ordered the fried pork with keoy teow (kanlou), fried pork laksa noodles and cincau milk. Personally, the fried pork and sambal is good (would be better if the fried pork is more crispy) but I feel the kanlou noodles and laksa soup is lacking in flavour. The cincau milk is a bit too creamy. Fyi, the outdoor eating area provide little shade (and no fan) so you might be sweating especially when eating a bowl of laksa (you can sit indoors but the tables are limited). Despite the crowd, our food was served within reasonable time. But the staffs are so busy they forgot to serve our "sup kosong" even after we asked for it. Overall, it's an okay place to eat if you are craving for Sandakan fried pork. Food price is reasonable.

Ah Yen's Traditional Crispy Pork Kueh Teow is a taste sensation! The crispy pork steals the spotlight, perfectly complementing the silky rice noodles. The sweet-savory sauce and skilled wok technique add layers of flavor, making every bite unforgettable. Quick and friendly service, simple ambiance, and a menu catering to all tastes make Ah Yen a must-try for Kueh Teow enthusiasts. Edited: Sometimes the music played too loud. Wish it can be quieter somehow. After leaving this comment, now the music volume is very decent at comfortable level already. Thanks for hearing our feedback. Boss your Laksa flavour is changing everytime. Hope you can maintain the very original flavor. I still remember the original taste when you just launched the menu. One of the most decent and constantly delivering flavourful of Sandakan fried pork noodle. It is also worth noting their Fried Chicken Chop, Laksa and Century Egg Dumplings are very delicious as well. I regularly dine in this shop and consistency is well maintained. Definitely recommended 10/10.
