Ngiu chap super flavourful very kaw kind of broth. If you like heavy soup taste this is for you.

Ordered ngiu chap mix + add tendon, recommend to add tendon to complete your bowl of ngiu chap. In mixed bowl got sliced beef, beef ball, beef stew meat, and beef tripe.

Very 真材实料，1 bowl got many of the above mentioned ingredients very full if you can finish 1 bowl. Sliced beef is tender, beef ball very authentic homemade kind, beef stew meat is soft and flavorful from stewing, beef tripe is soft & chewy kind, lastly tendon must add because tendon is very very soft(they definitely spend the long hour to prep it until so soft).

But there are some miss in their kuey teow & meehun. Because they use those thicker and slightly harder type of kuey teow, has some slight smell/taste on kuey teow if you know those keuy teow is thin and taste very clear kind. The meehun also not the best type (probably I am just nitpicking.

Environment is the usually kopitiam style ao don't expect chilling with air cond. At least it is manageable cleanliness. Very pack at during my dine in at weekend morning 9am+ a small queue time needed

Staff service is very good, friendly, efficient and fast too.

But overall 9/10 for a ngiu chap, good food. Go there eat good food not the environment so it is...

This place is like that park you visit once a year and play your favourite ride which you alone love for some reason.

I always come here for breakfast everytime i visit Sabah. Went there recently few days ago during this writing.

If you are driving to the area theres multiple parking spots at the front and back of the restaurant. But its kinda full during peak hours (expected much).

The food never disappoints and the staff are friendly as ever. The types of noodles you can choose (mihun, kueh tiaw and yellow noods) depend on what you are craving to eat on that day.

The laksa ngiu chap is more on the mild spice side. However, you can add free condiments such as chillies and lime to your noodles.

They also have a normal beef noodle if you are not a fan of laksa. It tasted good, too.

The coffee here is also pretty good. It has that roasted kopitiam taste to it.

Generous amount of beef in the noodle soup. The soup is salty and very fragrant with chinese herbs. However, the meehun they serve with the soup is kind of subpar. The texture and taste of the meehun is off.

The food is good but why the low star rating? THE PREMISE IS SO VERY EXTREMELY HOT …. So yeah.. what good is a shop if the food is good but the environment is bad? The hot air ventilation from the kitchen is bad. It causes the restaurant to he super hot like a chimney. It is really like a sauna where the weak could faint and die of heatstroke 😅

But if you tapau then wont have this problem also lah.
