Bumped into this small section within the shop selling Chinese style of steamed snacks made from glutinous flour with shredded or cooked ingredients like crunched peanut, pumpkin, shredded raddish, and carrot, just to name a few.
The different shapes and colours reflect the raw ingredients used, i.e., purple yam, red bean paste; toppings such as fried onions and shredded coconut added more flavours. The steamed raddish cake has fried shrimp to enhance the flavour, too.

Friend blanja the asam pedas at Ah Ken Asam Pedas. Serves no pork.
Had the seafood noodle soup with asam pedas, I think this was RM14 🤔. The soup is so tasty, it is sweet, sour and mildly bitter slices of bittergourd in this. Also has bunga kantan. Fresh seafood. Loveeeee. Think I'll be more often.
