Visited today and found the ordering system a bit unusual. While the menu is provided at the table, you need to go to the counter to place your order, which could be more convenient if streamlined.

The egg tarts and Portuguese egg tarts were delightful—definitely a highlight and worth a solid 4/5.

However, the nasi ayam took 45 minutes to arrive, which felt excessive for such a simple dish. I also added bean sprouts and salted egg, but they were served late, and only after I reminded the staff about my order. Perhaps improving the timing and coordination in the kitchen could make the experience smoother.

The Sweet & Sour Fish with rice had potential, but the fish was unfortunately overcooked, and the fried egg seemed to have been prepared with reused oil, which affected its quality. It also came with acar in a separate small sauce dish. While I appreciated the inclusion of acar, the dish was placed directly on the rice plate, with its bottom touching the sauce. This seemed unhygienic and could be improved by serving the acar separately, (without putting it inside the plate along with the dish)

The drinks were a mixed experience—Hor ka sai lacked flavour, but the Madras Tea was enjoyable.

The staff were friendly but seemed a bit distracted at times, with one visibly using her phone. A bit more attentiveness could elevate the service experience.

Overall, while there were some good moments, the food and service have room for improvement. With better timing, presentation, and attention to detail, I believe this place could become a much better...

Went here last friday with my mum. Food and atmosphere is okay. But there are 2 things that concern us. Operating hour is no where to be seen on the door except on the internet. Yes the close time is 10pm but there was no mention about kitchen close at 9pm. We were the last person to order and when another customer came in. The cashier told them the kitchen close at 9pm but proceed with our orders. The 2nd concern was, one of the staff rudely saying out loud about wanting to go back home. Mind you, the food arrive around 9.10-9.20pm. My mum is a slow eater and I have to tell her to speed up eating even though her order came later. Staff can suggest us to do a take away, and we don’t mind and we’ll understand. Had them inform us before hand, this will not escalate to the point i had to write a review. I’m disappointed with how one of the staff rudely act. Everyone is tired but that doesn’t make it okay to act rude. Environment is ok, sejuk and clean but got many flies.

Food taste is ok, portion is fair for its price but the waiting time is too long. Waited for atleast 40-45 minutes while 2-3 tables beside have already gotten their food.

The girls waiter is friendly and attentive. But the male waiter got a bit problem. Waited for 45 mins for a polo bun, but when asked they said habis already. I told them why no inform but they insist saying already inform but it was supposed for a spring roll 😅 The male cashier could also improve on customer service, as he appeared unapproachable and did not acknowledge customers warmly.
