CHASER KROKOP (MIRI) — Restaurant in Borneo

Last night, I had dinner with my family at Chaser Miri. We ordered BBQ pork, Taiwanese sausage, steak, chicken chop, sambal sotong, butter milk chicken, and spaghetti. Honestly, the experience was quite underwhelming.

The steak was a big disappointment. It came without the mushroom sauce, and I had to remind the staff. By the time they brought it, we were almost done eating. The steak itself was overly oily and not tasty at all.

The spaghetti portion was shockingly small — it looked more like a kid’s meal. The taste wasn’t good either, leaving us quite unsatisfied.

The drinks weren’t great either. I ordered the Three Sour, but it lacked lemon and tasted like plain water.

Overall, while some dishes were okay, the portions, quality, and service were disappointing. If you’re planning to visit, I’d suggest thinking twice. Definitely not...

Service crews acted like never trained, and the food was just meh. Order satay Rm2.80, only three fingertip pieces. On the menu pork price is listed as 100g, come and tell us only serve 250g, ordered 300g, without notice then served me 500g. Even my grandma can make Milo better Milo than here, taste nothing. The spaghetti feels like being bullied, broken by section. Serve the beer bubble more than beer, comes with leaking at the edge. Chicken boxing skin is thicker than my tyre. Only the fries were good. dry oyster omelette tasted oily, but if you miss kuching oyster omelette, then you probably won't mind lol. chicken chop was not well seasoned and the mushroom sauce was thin & runny. serving portion was rather small compared to other places with similar price. the fish on its own was good because the flesh was fresh & sweet, but the sambal that came with it had a strong, unbalanced belacan flavour. service was slow & not great although there weren't many customers.
