Fung Ling Restaurant — Restaurant in Borneo

I came to this place after reading some reviews.

I had the lemon chicken rice (i asked for no bones) and the fried squid and a steamed rice on its own. All meals were absolutely delicious!

The spicy sauce that is served on the table went great with the squid and the rice! Be mindful that the sauce is quite spicy.

I had a tiger beer and a water also. The price was very reasonable and would definitely go back.

The restaraunt was basically an open area with tables and chairs...

Food tasted local and good. Salted egg york squid was delicious. Food is not as salty as other places. Unfortunately, service is not responsive. They didn't serve our last dish for a long time and I had to request for an explanation. They said that they needed time to purchase eggs (in the middle of lunch hour?!). Then they gave our order to the wrong table and we only realised this when we checked again...

We ate here twice during our stay in Semporna. Flavors are authentic. Prices are reasonable and clearly stated on the menu. We had fried rice, Hokkien noodle, corn soup, vegetable in oyster sauce, fish with black bean, fried kway teow and Singaporean noodles. Everything was good to very good. Service was fast.
