Exceptional service and perfect location! I had a wonderful stay at Memory Boutique Hotel. The room was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately made me feel comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect - right in the heart of downtown with easy access to everything you’d want to see and do. What really made this stay memorable was the outstanding service from the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate my various requests throughout my stay. Whether it was lending me an umbrella, providing a bowl for soup, arranging a taxi at 5am, or letting me borrow a charger adapter, they were always happy to help with a smile. The hotel is OK for a short stay, but nothing I would like for a 2 weeks vacation. The rooms are clean. We had two rooms for us 3 people - one room was bigger but without window, another was quite small, but with window. The location of the hotel is quite central, the only weird thing was that we wanted to order a Grab from this place in front and the drivers several times wanted to charge extra 20 MYR to pick up (despite in the application it was 10 MYR), so we walked a bit and ordered from there. I liked the staff at Memory Boutique, they were really friendly and helpful - unlike many other people we met on our trip in Semporna. In my room there was a quite strong smell (I guess someone smoked out of the window before), that was a bit annoying but I still could handle it. Bathroom was clean and looked nice. It's a fine hotel for a few nights. Price is decent. Bathroom had a sewer smell so we had to leave the bathroom window open. Water pressure was weak. Internet was very fast and good. AC worked well. 150mbps download speeds. Neighbors one night were drunk and loud but pounding on the wall helped. Unfortunately there are a lot of stray dogs that live right next to the hotel and bark every night and during the night. Not even earplugs help. Sensitive sleepers beware.
