IMHO the BEST char kway teow in KK - by a jovial Penangite and his team of family members. Char kway teow is not only smoky, full of flavours and wok hei, one can always expect consistency (even when it's cooked by the talented young son!) The lack of one vital CKT ingredient - the cockles - but for me personally (Hepatitis risk) is compensated by some fish cakes and chicken slices. No too big a loss at all!
They specialize in Penang street food : Assam laksa, Kway Teow T'ng, and some snacks like lo bak, fried prawn fritter, yong taufu.
Kway teow soup is really light and good, and so is their prawn fritters!
