Came here on a Sunday. Travelled from Georgetown to have lunch here. It's abig restaurant that can fit up to almost 50 customers at a time. The ambience is nice, staffs were accommodating. But I noticed there were only 3 of them on duty as I can't see who else is in the kitchen. The cashier, the guy who's prepping the drinks and another lady who's serving the orders etc. I ordered pasta, coffee and a cake. I was told that the chicken pop (name is something like that) will take 20mins to cook so I decided againts it. They have 3 soups on the menu but lady said they only have mushroom soup avail for that day so I said no coz I was actually craving to try their pumpkin soup. 5 mins later, my coffee came. 20 mins and the pasta is still nowhere to be seen. Went to the counter and I ask for the cake I ordered because I'm starting to starve. 27 mins .. I've had it and decided to cancel the pasta, explaining to the lady that took my order that she'd warned me the chicken pop will take 20 mins so she could've warned me that the pasta will take longer. She offered to check my order in the kitchen but I'd lost my appetite. I ask if they can just refund the pasta since they would ask you to pay upon order. They just refunded it happily, with smiles. No apology or attempt to explain why it's taking forever to get the pasta ready. Whoever owns this establishment should do something about the man power and service because it wasn't just me who got annoyed that day judging from the conversations from the other tables. Oh, and the cake and coffee are just so so. I bet the owner won't be leaving comments on this review as he/she been doing to 5...
Read moreLocated on the first floor of All Seasons Place, this restaurant was extremely unassuming.
The entire cafe had simple decorations, with a giant mural wall once you step foot into the cafe. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor sitting as well.
Food: AMAZING! Fish slices in creamy sauce: Fried fish slices cooked in a deliciously creamy sauce with hints of lemongrass and a touch of spiciness.
Honey mustard chicken chop: Chicken breaded with some sort of cereal, provided a light but sufficient touch of crispness. Pretty sure we had the chicken breast part, but it was so mpist and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Sauce was alright, it just tasted exactly like McD's honey mustard sauce for their mcnuggets.
Chocolate banana waffle: Loved the waffle!! Waffle was crispy on the outside and fluff on the inside. Doesn't feel heavy at all. Banana slices was bruleed (topped with sugar then torched) so it provided a really satisfying crunch when eaten. Nuts used were a mixture of almond and walnut, not your usual peanuts. Chocolate sauce was served on the side, you can decide how much you wanna add. The chocolate sauce was not too sweet. Only con was I wished they drizzled some honey on maple syrup on the waffle, would've made it better.
Drinks: Only tried the chocolate Nutella ice blended and it was really good! No large ice crystals and not too sweet but chocolate taste was the main profile.
Can't recommend this place enough! Go try...
