Ayam Jingkrak Mbax Ardilla — Restaurant in George Town

Had a very bad experience today. Since it’s raining outside, we’ve decided to have lunch at AJMA inside KBJ’s branch instead of the main AJMA outside of KBJ building. The cashier who took order from us, a young charming girl, has been awfully unpolite while taking orders. We decided to put this unpleasant feeling aside since we are expecting a nice meals. Once the meals received, it appears just like the same food that we ordered at AJMA main restaurant. Our first taste of the chicken is gradually worsening since it appears to be fried couples hours before our order been made. It would be acceptable if the chicken is not that hard. It’s a double disappointment for us since the cashier’s reception to us and the meals that we received.

It’s an honest review from us since we have been your regular customer since the starting of AJMA’s meals at Sri Aman Food Court. We are looking forward to continue enjoying AJMA’s tastefully meals with regards that you maintain the quality of the meals rather than lots of branch that decreases your food quality.

Indonesian cuisines. Unfamiliar with some of the name and vocabs of the menu. Need to keep asking the staff of each menu. Fortunately they are very helpful. My friends and I we had ayam jingrak, ayam penyet, ayam fire and bakso ayam. Those who unfamiliar, ayam jingrak is like kfc style fried chicken, ayam penyet is fried chicken with turmeric, ayam fire is fried chicken coated with extra chilis (Korean style). All these come with white rice, sambal and soup. Bakso is soup with chicken/meatballs. Taste wise, the sambal is a bit chili hot spicy. The chicken tasted okay. Been there with my future wife as shes craving indo food, We ordered Ayam Jingkrak and Bakso Urat, the menu quite confusing as my order which is Bakso Urat comes with no noodle or mee. Just soup and meatball. Maybe its my fault for not reading the menu correctly . For Ayam Jingkrak, our expectations was high as it was recommended on their menu but once we got our food, the sambal is bitter and got no taste at all, the fried chicken also plain in taste.
