A cafe with old school design. I like the relaxing my vibe that I get in the cafe. The price are cheap and the portion are medium. Most of their food are tasty and well cooked. I loved their grilled chicken and red velvet. It taste all on the spot. Their staffs are friendly and devotional too. When I just get there, they’re welcoming me warmly. There are no air conditioning here but the temperature are just fine. The seatings are comfy too. Their services are in a top notch. It is a good place to have evening tea too. You can book here for a table too. Anyway I would recommend this cafe for all those planning to visit Penang

Where should I start ... ? Probably the worse buffet Ramadhan I ever had.

The food was extremely lousy. I kinda of surprise with the lousy quality. I have been here for few times (more than 10 times) since the past years.

The lamb were far below the acceptable quality. Super dry n super lousy. Seems like it is reheated for couple of days. The chicken... OMG... I also dunno how to describe how low the quality is.

The salads ... Maybe it should not be served to customer. There is also bread with meat on top of it ... I think it should be thrown away ... Not fit to be served.

What actually happened? U guys were far better... It is my family favorite restaurant for the past years.

Honestly... I felt cheated. Not worth at all. Paid couple of hundreds but served with far below quality. U guys taste the food?

However ... The lamb stew soup is something eatable (thank God).

I was trying to look for the owner to express my disappoinment but ... On the same time... Want to get out from there soonest possible.

Conclusion.... It is extremely lousy...

Muslim operated cafe housed in a heritage building within USM Gelugor, Penang, walking distance to the huge USM field with splendid views of the TNB monopole towers. The nearest entrance is the Minden Heights gate. Non air-cond makes it quite warm on hot days. There is outdoor seating, too. Deco is ok, with few memorable photos. Serves mainly western favourites, pasta, and rice dishes. Friends recommended signature grilled chicken and fried chicken chop, which were out of stock after 1pm. Limited quantities in a day.
