Been there early morning. We were the 1st table customer this morning before catching flight..wanted to try dim sum in Penang..anyway, its Not really authentic hkg dim sum...the prawn in har kau not fresh, so elastic..taste like frozen prawn. I most disappointed on the Deep Fried Radish cake! Its definitely left over from yesterday and the chef refried it again this morning n served to us again. It looks totally different from the picture in the menu. When it is served, its brown color n there are sign of refried few time, definitely not freshly made n not only deep fried once hard and unhealthy due to fried few times. Already feedback to the restaurant but they dun seems to agree, no feedback given to me. The steam chicken feet also not juicy, not fresh and not freshly made, guess must be leftover from last night again. We only like the Hong Tu Ee Fu noodle which is freshly cooked and it taste good with vinegar...only thumbs up for this item. Overall, Will not patronize this restaurant for dim sum again ,i m.not paying pricey $$$ to eat leftover from last night unhealthy food althought idea of having steamer to...

The Steam Prawn Chee Cheong Fun comes with pure chili shrimp paste, that’s something the whole industry is missing. The portion of the shrimp is like throwing a shrimp party, soft, succulent and juicy Chee Cheong Fun that glides to your tummy. This is already a 5/5 as a starter.
Deep fried been-curd skin with prawn, crispy on the outside, moist and juicy in the inside, what can I expect more, how did they do it? Usually this crispy fritters are all dried up due to uncontrollable heat on the deep fryer. How can this be ??? I believe this is made to order, not those deep fried and displayed on the heated food display.
Goodbye to Kampung Koh official Dim Sum chilli condiment, this Bao Zhan homemade chili dip is beyond another level, those who know Kampung Koh would want it to attest to how many fakes Kampung Koh out there, nevertheless, this condiment pairs their food exceptionally perfectly.
8.5/10 I will come again, next time, I will bring more friends as I did not finish this serving, portion too big. There are more in the list that...
Read moreThe dim sum is acceptable and above average. Let's just face the fact that no Penang dim sum can be lauded the best and mediocre most of the time. For its location and comfortable ambience, the food is on par with most dim sum in the island.
Pricing is also above average, pricier than the usual uncomfortable hot area, but u pay for the ambience and the novelty of the table which had a small steamer area to keep your food warm.
Service is friendly, albeit not necessarily professional as some waiter/waitress tend to be blunt although they can be helpful too.
Also, they allow payment via FavePay, so you can enjoy...
