I recently had the pleasure of dining at Iskender Premium, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I entered, the restaurant’s impeccable ambiance and tasteful decoration set the tone for a memorable evening. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfectly suited for a relaxed meal.

For dinner, I tried the chicken shawarma, Turkish pizza and cheesy mutton kofte with rice, both of which were absolutely delicious. The chicken shawarma was tender and flavorful, with just the right blend of spices, while the mutton kofte was juicy and perfectly complemented by the fragrant rice. The Turkish pizza was fantastic. To round off the meal, I indulged in their kunafa with vanilla ice cream, a dessert that was both indulgent and beautifully balanced in sweetness.

Last time i visited a place which sold arabic food, the biriyani rice had so much of the seeds and spice cloves that it destroyed my experience. This place can safely be called THE BEST PLACE FOR ARABIC FOOD. I’m no expert in Arabic food or culture but i really really enjoyed my experience here. The lamb mandy rice was so delicious. The lamb was perfectly seasoned, giving you abit of spice but maintaining the great lamb texture and flavour. The chicken shawarma, up there with the greats; well marinated grilled chicken with the classic garlic yogurt and salsa dips. There was another lamb stew dish that really sealed the deal. Heavily seasoned and the gravy was super super rich. I could just drink the gravy all by itself. The service was amazing. Staff was super friendly, kind and down to earth, made sure we were having a wonderful time and was at our call at a moment of a glance. Food came fast too, all things considered. We had a great meal at ISKENDER Premium—very tasty and full of flavour, though there were a few hiccups with the service. The Chicken Shawarma was so good we ended up ordering a second one. We also tried the Garlic Chicken Pide (which was initially missed and had to be followed up) and the Chicken Shish Tawook, all served with chips. The fresh mango and watermelon juices were spot on and really refreshing.

Portion sizes were decent, and everything we had was well-seasoned and moist—no dry meat here. The decor was nicely done, giving off a relaxed and comfortable vibe. The place was very clean, which was appreciated.

Service was friendly enough, but not very attentive. The waitress who took our order was finishing her shift and left before the food arrived, which may have contributed to some confusion. That said, the team could have communicated a little better to make up for it.

Price-wise, we paid 116 ringgit (rounded to 120) for four meals and three drinks, which felt fair for the quality.
