Overall, place with an amber parking (Rm5 per day)
The place is offshore beside the beach. Honestly, it is depends by the wild winds by the beach.... natural air conditioning based on the beach weather conditions.
Although, it does looks like an old and abandon place. Yet, overall foods is not too bad to eat for a fresh salted grilled seafood.
Once being seated, you shall be all the foods owners started queuing up in order. By taking turns to takes in your orders, kinda an organised and systematic.
Satay - After beef version rather than chicken version. My personal point of view, chicken taste it like with too much of artificial taste on it - not really nice. Still beef version taste more like an usual beef satay should be taste like it.
Appetizer squid - Rm18 for a small plate, don't expect on wow effect, you won't coz it was so blend but must have a chillies sauce for dipping.
Fresh grill prawn - can taste the salt from the shell, confirm they did grilled with salt.... meat texture was really fresh and tangy. RM48 for a kilo not so expensive.
Soy bean sauce claim Rm18 - dont expect much from this, has nothing special though.
Fresh crab Rm148 (2kg) Crab indeed really fresh and full with proteins... haha pretty much value for money, i'd say it though.
Fried bihun & fried Sweet potatoes leave Rm34 - so-so only, trust me the presentation not ok, take just really not normal only.
My 2 cents, prior on your arrival advise to make table reservation and pre-order for your seafoods. They needs to start cook preparation prior on your...
Read moreWas actually there for “Avatar secret garden”. Had no intention to eat at this place. But was there a little early, why not have dinner and wait till sunset to enjoy the lights.
went to the restaurant hoping to have a good meal. However got really pissed of by this “side shave headed mohawk wannabe ahbeng”. Told us that we MUST order crab to be able to sit at tables that are in the open space area, if not one must be seated at some dark enclosed area. He even said it would be EMBARRASSING if one doesn’t order crab. I totally understand that this “ahbeng” wishes to make money. But for goodness sake, if that’s how he’s gonna do it. Then I would like to let everyone out there know... spend your money else where, till he learn some manners!
For those that wishes to visit the “Avatar secret Garden”. The lights roughly comes on at 7:45pm. Best to be there at 8:15pm. Go have your dinner some where else and not make the same mistake as i did by having dinner at this place.
One may say he’s non educated or does not have the qualification to be a waiter. But, is it that hard to be a little humane towards another fellow human being...
Read moreI'm scratching my head why people still flock to this shabby place to eat. Parking is hard to find. The road leading to the restaurant is narrow and winding. The restaurant is not very comfortable. The food - nothing to shout about. The "famous" crabs and prawns are basically just boiled with no sauce or special condiments. Granted, the prawns were fresh, but they're just boiled and nothing else. Anybody can cook better dishes at home. Also, what kind of "seafood" restaurant doesn't serve fish? I don't know if I went on a bad day, but there was no fish on the menu. Prices - absolutely cutthroat. Imagine one plate of char horfun (barely enough for 2) costs RM20! Is that crazy or what? One plate of stir-fried beansprouts (cost price RM 1) cost us RM16! Sixteen fold profit. That's robbery. The mussels were disappointing - the gravy tasted awful. Nope, never ever going back. Come on, plenty of better seafood restaurants with more reasonable prices out...
