KFC — Restaurant in George Town

One time I was ordering one coleslaw, one cheesy wedges and one mashed potato for my dinner, and to be honest, it was the slowest fast food I have ever had. I waited 10 minutes to order the food (only 4 people waiting in line in front of me) and another 30 minutes for my food to be served. And few months later, I had another dinner with my girlfriend at the same place and that time we were really hungry. And this time the place was even more crowded than the previous time, we waited 15 minutes in line and 40 minutes for our food to be served. The main issue of this is that staff there is too relaxing in handling the huge crowd of people, and some are just clearly slacking off and chit-chatting with others and do nothing, ignoring the crowd of people waiting to order their food and waiting for their food to be served. And the most disappointed part is to see their supervisor had done nothing about this unhealthy culture, even after another visit a few months later. I have no opinion on KFC personally, and to be frank I like KFC's food, but KFC Sungai Dua is just the worst KFC I had been there so far. Not long ago, I went to KFC Megamall and was surprised by how fast they served their food, but what they did is just the normal pace of how fast the fast food restaurant should have in their service. KFC Malaysia in general is getting worse day by day, recently they have stop some of Malaysians favourite items in their menu board such as Coleslaw, Cheesy Wedges, etc.

But this particular store i went today did not have NO Burger NO Butterscotch Bun NO KFC Colonel Rice Apart from whatever they have removed from their menu board

To add to the worse, after me i heard the customer asked for 9 pcs Family Bucket (chicken) and the girl at the cashier told her "this is all we have" which obviously not enough.

Operation hour till 11pm meaning they have to serve their customer till 11pm by providing based of each customer's order but here by 10+pm they have stopped on cooking the chicken, nuggets, etc...this is really bad.

Some could say that this is to minimize the amount of excess food that might go on waste but i strongly believe better prediction based on strong observation can definitely give you best result on production quantity based on customers needs. This will ensure a smooth operation, maximize customers satisfaction and at the end of the day gives a better revenue

I think KFC Malaysia has a lot to improve in coming days or they will be loosing customers since there are plenty fast food chain offering some what...

The experience of eating at KFC Sungai Dua (in front of USM) was something very painful. I visited the restaurant on 3.2.2023, at approximately 9 pm. After taking food to dine in, we were not allowed to go upstairs as it was said to be closed from 9 pm, whereas the restaurant closes at 11 pm. The downstairs dining room was full so we had to stand & wait holding trays. After pleading, we were allowed to go upstairs to eat. However, when going up the stairs, the lights are not turned on causing danger to the customers going up, especially the elderly & children as well as pregnant mothers. While eating, the light is deliberately turned off to give a signal to eat quickly and leave. When trying to wash hands, the ceiling light in the toilet area was deliberately darkened to make it difficult to get to the location.
