Pedal and Rolls — Restaurant in George Town

Staff is friendly and welcoming, food and atmosphere is on point no doubt… However, the service management is disappointing..

I brought my family to visit and spend some quality time in this car theme cafe/restaurant, me sisters and me old man are excited that they would get a chance to play the race car simulator, so after I’ve spend RM200++ for dinner and they can’t nor even have chance to touch the steering wheel of the simulator, because it was occupied by customers who just bought only 2 drinks!! and dictate the simulator the whole time… We left the cafe/restaurant with a disappointing experience as I’ve feed back to the friendly staff, and they can’t do anything about it, but just say sorry.. so….

Anyway……. I hope the Cafe owner can look into this matter and find a...

The sitting area for the restaurant is predominantly on the upper floor of the building extension. 2 parts of the surrounding wall are fabric based, which allows all the noise from the traffic to penetrate through. Chequered plates are used for flooring, and you can imagine the annoying vibration when the serving staff and other customers are walking.

Food pricing is cheaper than I initially expected at such a premise, but the quality is really disappointing.

Signature nasi lemak doesn't have enough lemak in the nasi, and the sambal is not fragrant at all. The fried chicken thigh that comes with the dish is dry.

Grill chicken chop is also dry, and the butter sauce that comes with it is totally unsalted.

Overall an uncomfortable and disappointing...

This place has really surprised me and surpassed all expectations! What a great place to not only dine but also linger with petrol enthusiasts.

Pros: Atmosphere is amazing. Cars and bikes coming in and out, and everyone is polite. Staff friendly and helpful. Price of food very reasonable considering it’s Penang, especially the drinks! (You must try their in house special drinks) Most importantly, their decor all around is nice. So many spots for you to discover and take photos with. I’m not gonna spoil it for you here.
