Over time, it seems that the service, food quality, and overall experience at this place have not improved; in fact, they have worsened. The waitstaff often stand around doing nothing, even when customers are seated and ready to place an order. The tables are also unpleasantly smelly, likely due to being wiped down with old, dirty cloths.

The food has also declined in quality. The char kway teow, which used to be a favorite, is now excessively salty and no longer enjoyable.
