Visited with a foreigner friend on Thursday night, there were no football matches but the crowd was huge, the Nasi kandar line for takeaway was at least 20-30 customers. Arrive there at 11pm, found a seat but no one come to take orders, raised hand to get their attention but was ignored by many of the staffs, after a good 15 minutes wait with no service walked up to the counter to order food and drinks, but they are asking am I a take away or dine in, I said I am dining in and was told to sit. After half an hour finally someone come and take our order, we ordered teh ais, limao ais and a few roti. The drinks was served after another 15 minutes, total of 45 minutes wait since our arrival. And even get the limau ais wrong, they made plain ice water instead. And there continue my wait. After another 10 minute, 55 minutes now I raised my hand again, then only the boss ask what is it I want, I said I just wanted a drink, I ordered but made the wrong order canât they even prioritise that? And finally after a total of 1 hour, here is my drink? Worth it? Visit again?...
Read moreToo pricy and they even charged SST compared to other Nasi Kandar around the area. Attendants / staff were found not able to speak in local language as most of them were imported from other countries. Owner have to really2 make sure that all items, preparations, cooked and served as per syarak's law as I found some fishy-acts was going around during my visit. Owner need to concern for those really want to have foods rather than focusing on those football audiences which does not have humanity towards others. Please act on No Smoking as well as me and my observation group found that the notice just 'for display' rather than serious words and actions. Honestly, I don't think the management / owner does not concerned on the signages and terms. Looking forwars for improvement. Me and observation team will be visiting in regular frequency to check up on their service...
Read moreMee goreng: decent. It doesn't have the classic new goreng color (this one is darker), nor any Sotong/squid, and the fried tofu is not fresh and crunchy and clearly deep fried in dirty oil. The gravy sauce they used to fry is pretty good and have that classic Mee goreng flavour. There are way better Mee goreng around, but theirs is not bad. Teh halia: it's not from powder, but the ginger isn't of good quality and taste earthy/muddy. Service: very friendly and efficient. You sit down and wait for waiters to come take your order (unless you want the Nasi Kandar where U need to line up & choose). Payment: only duitnow for ewallet payment. I couldn't use my shopeepay voucher since they don't have the scanner to scan my QR code (I could use Shopeepay to scan their QR code but vouchers are not...
