Rockstar Burger — Restaurant in George Town

I don't understand why is the rating so high? Went there on a Friday evening, there's no fan so it's a bit hot. It's a tiny hawker area with a few other stalls. That's fine. We ordered the burger, I got carbonara mushroom with 2 slice of chicken patty. Friend got beef wing burger. We waited for about 20 mins before the guy (who was just standing there doing absolutely nothing) came over to confirm our orders, then only we saw the dude started making the burgers. Wut? Okay chillz. 15 mins later our orders arrived and it looked... very bland. The burgers came with a slice of cheese, a bit of onion and vege, a plain bun, the patties and disappointment. Both chicken and beef patties were a bit soft and soggy. There's nothing special about it. I'd prefer Alamak burger (though oily) over this. 2 stars for a plain o' bun with soggy patties.

Had Wings and Rockstar buger. The Rockstar tasted like a typical burger, nothing to shout about really. The Wings was delicious and sinful, the patty was crusted nicely but perhaps too well done. I didn't like the odd inedible hard bits like soft bones in the burger. At their price point, they are being overshadowed by other operators such as Spade and food trucks serving one inch patties. Until they start offering medium rare burgers, it's difficult to take this outlet seriously. The ambience has a very nice rock hipster feel. It would have gone quite well with some classic rock instead it was mostly silent or some staff playing some pop music on tiny portable speakers. Would give 6 stars if I could. The person in charge is such a friendly person and enthusiastic for good burgers. The wings burger has a double patty, the beef had such good beefy taste that burgers should have, the huge slice of bacon was great, topped with bratwurst sausages that provide a different dimension. The honey mustard sauce was awesome too! Indeed one of the best burgers I've ever tried. Ultimate satisfaction. The owner said that the move back towards having a stall lets them focus their resources in providing good food and the price is better too which I whole heartedly agree. What...
