This is my family's favourite place for char kuey teow and satay. Has been in business for many years.... a family run premise and is well known for its char kuey teow. Tasty and cheap. Wet or dried... normal or special, the options are for you to choose.
Satay is another selling point. Chicken and beef satays - well marinated, delicious, thick, and meaty (good quality meat they used, not the low quality minced/leftover), well cooked, served hot and fresh, and cheap price (RM1/stick) considering the quality of meat you are getting. The satay sauce is also thick and tasty.
Fried rice (several types) is delicious.... and the price is cheap as well. Served warm and tasty.
Service is friendly and fast.
To improve points: The parking - there are ample parking spaces but shared with other restaurants here. So far, I had no issue getting a parking space, which could be I am because I am familiar with this area. The premise could be upgraded to make it more welcoming and with a delightful atmosphere. Maybe install more lights to brighten up...
Read moreThe char koay teow is quite a small portion but I can guarantee the taste is delicious. It is a wet style of char koay teow and it is also perfectly seasoned. I recommend you to dine in rather then packing it home because when you reach home, you will realise that the koay teow has soaked up all the sauce. I also recommended trying the satay as it is delicious too. Overall the food there is very tasty and I would recommend this place to people who are looking to grab a quick meal...
Read moreThis place offers several types of Nasi Goreng and a few type of Char Koey Teow. I tried Nasi Goreng Ayam while most of my family members tried Char Koey Teow Prawn. Mine was average while the rest of them were tasty. Drinks taste quite good. Later we ate Satey and all of us enjoyed it especially Satey Ayam. Staffs on duty did good job on taking orders and delivering it. Parking is limited. Overall good place for food...
