Starbucks Hillside Tg Bungah — Restaurant in George Town

This is my go-to Starbucks as it is nearby to where I live. As there are promotions as you bought drinks via their apps, I usually drop by to use/redeem those promotions. The baristas/cashier usually does their job by upselling you either extra toppings or add caramel or chocolate chips. This is fine as they are trained to do so. However, if there is any up-sell you taken, beware that the barista that made that drink/meal 'overseeing' the additional topping and just made that as a standard drink/meal. This branch tends to do that. Also, I have observed that their Mocha Frappe is more diluted and tasteless compared to previously. My wife is a frequent drive tru customer. She always orders the Mac n Cheese as a takeaway for my son. On a few occasions now,they have run out of basic cutlery to go with the MC. Staff says stocks have finished . How can you eat MC without any serving cutleries. Even a basic hawker stall always has cutlery for takeaway . Here is a well known brand.

If it happens once, I feel yes no worries but frequently it's happening. The outlet is not located in Georgetown with very high take outs. How can one eat MC which is piping hot,without any cutleries.

20/4/2024 I purposely drive from town area to Tanjung Bungah Hillside Starbucks Branch (reach by 10:50pm) after refer to promotion from Starbucks website, but when I reached the staffs said that this promotion only until 12.30pm, whereas website didn’t stated time restriction. If Starbucks wish to get more consumers by doing promotion please do have a clear communication between Starbucks operations, this is a very bad experience for me as a customer.
