March'24 - Came to this outlet to chillax and clear my birthday cake voucher. Initial experience was quite frustrating as the servers were quite everywhere. 1) Not very knowledgeable on their products as the sign on the cake name "kuih bakar burnt cheesecake" did state "cheesecake" but they were adamant said that it was not a cheesecake. 🤦🏻♀️ 2) I had already ordered my cake and drink yet the same server (Alya), kept asking what's my order. 3) After getting my drink & still waiting, I had to remind them I was still waiting for my cake. No one remembered to prepare it. Why couldn't the person who took my order settled from start to end? So disorganized. Kind of killed my mood to chillax there.
When I could finally sit down to my treats, I think it was the brand manager (Nisha) who crept up behind me and questioned me like I had done something wrong in Starbucks. After some uncomfortable questions - I asked if there was any issue. She finally introduced herself as "customer relations" who's checking on customer satisfaction. Totally awkward the way to get customer's feedback. Decided not to say anymore and just stop the conversation and return to my treat. I watched for awhile and she did not approach any other tables to "get feedback". Haiyo - Firstly she should come Infront of me and intro first lah. If she had been open and approached properly, I might have been move willing to share. Now she has this in black & white.
Before leaving I wanted to get something for family. Another server - Iqa - super helpful to recommend a savory item, she actually recommended a few of her favourites. Iqa and Zatty - super helpful as they took the time to explain how I could warm up the savory item to the best they could. They did a 100% better compared to the first server. So instead of only two stars, I add one more because of them. Thanks for making my day. ❤️😊
Update: Visited today - 24/04/24: was seated at A145 for over 1.5 hours and no one came to clear the table. After I ordered at the counter, I has to ask to someone to clear my table (see the picture of the tray with the mess). attempted 5-6 times to claim a voucher via order at the table option. Their app does not support claim vouchers on app. Need to leave my bag at my table and carry all my valuables to the counter to order. Seriously ZUS app is so much more user friendly. Asked what was "Matcha Cream" - all they said was a matcha drink with more concentrated matcha taste. I think it's more cream than Matcha - hardly any matcha taste. They need to order real matcha powder from Kyoto. their grande cup cover does not fit the grande cup - It was loose. The server had to tell me "not to hold the cup at the cap". Totally not logical, no one holds a cup at the cap. Just holding the body of the cup, the cap already comes off lah. Another disappointing...

INCIDENT AS BELOW: Ordered reserve latte in Venti size and caramel frappuccino in Grande size, instead they put in wrong size for both drinks. Corrected the size again with the drive thru counter pic, Fathur but the receipt still didn’t change to correct one and charge me higher price (wrong order, reserve latte Grande size and caramel frappuccino in Venti size) instead of lower price (correct orders, reserve latte Venti size and caramel frappuccino in Grande size). Told the manager Kamal but he kept insist was our wrong so resist to listen and understand what our request. Hence, I have to walk in to store with him from drive thru parking since he was taking my phone and said we already pay lesser with the wrong receipt (should be pay more but Kamal didn’t want to listen). When inside store he still insisted not to issue correct receipt for me, taking my phone and doing other drinks only turn back to me said is System issue, he can’t amend the receipt, which mean we must pay more although with the Buy Grande Free Venti promotion?! Hence, even this is not much different but I really mad with the way he talked, I asked him if this meant the marketing promotion is false marketing? Then Kamal loose the temper and talk back words on me with Fathur. Leave me at the front desk then he continued to do drinks. Few minutes later only when he saw me complaining this to the cashier then only he came forward to the empty counter then issue back the correct receipt for me by THROWING TO THE COUNTER TABLE without saying anything!! Couldn’t file this issue to anyone in this GREENLANE STARBUCKS RESERVE since KAMAL is the manager as told by the cashiers. The female cashier was very nice and understandable to what happened and do apologize to us. Thank to this lady but this was the manager KAMAL problem. I took 13 mins more for this issue to settle with Kamal in his rude way, although I drive thru to buy Starbucks just for convenience. But turns out in opposite way, my Hot Reserve latte turned to room temperature and waste more time with drive thru! WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER IN STARBUCKS! This is the second time I encountered unacceptable attitude towards customer from the same crew in this branch.
This particular staff name SAFA. The first encountered was during post Raya whereby I'm planning to chill at this particular branch for coffee. I ordered 2 flavour and was waiting at my table. There is no one calling and my friend went to collect the drink in the counter. Because my friend wasn't sure what drinks I ordered, he show the receipt to ask for help as to avoid taken the wrong one. He actually approach SAFA and asking her favour to identify the drink. Guess what, he got this reply from SAFA " you tak boleh tengok sendiri ke". My friend felt offended and get back to me and told me about this. I reassure my friend that she might not in mood as just post raya yet she need to work. However, today, my second encountered with SAFA again through drive thru service. As I am not the driver, I cannot make clear order that is why I requested my driver repeated what I said. Again, after few times repeated with impatient and continuously talking from SAFA, she said this " you talk properly la". I ended the conversation and proceeded to the counter and confronted her. She still insisted with her high tone and fight back. I request for an apologise for making me feel uncomfortable, she said "oh really, then sorry". I just want to let this particular staff know, this is an international brand, i never encountered any staff behave this way. Please provide her with proper training before the business in this branch become worst because of her improper service.
