Stayed at Lemon Inn for four nights while in town to do some immigration stuff for Thailand. The hotel came up as close to the embassy but it is still a 10 minute drive. The location is a bit weird as there are no tourist things in the vicinity. In fact, I was the only "white" person. It is convenient to a couple of outside stall areas for Malay food, Chinese food, and Thai food. It is also a few blocks to the harbor (ocean) not swimming beach!||||The place itself has a little sign and it was difficult to find every time I mentioned it to a taxi driver. They had no idea where I was talking about and on a couple of occasions wanted to charge me more bc they insisted it was not Georgetown itself, but the outskirts.||||The place is well kept, very clean, and quite comfy. Opt for the standard rom or higher - as the cheapest room is SO small. The bathrooms are a locker room style and are shared. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rates are good enough. Seems they would be cheaper bc this place is so remote and a homestead type place.
